This relatively new restaurant is amazing. They brought a chef from Ondia to man the kitchen. The food is exceptional and there are offerings not available elsewhere on the island. A great lunch special is Chole bhatura ( chick pea with a special bread) . We look forward to eating here on a regular basis!

Had a beautiful meal here with excellent ambience. The mixed vegetable starter for two was excellent and accompanied by lovely chutney. Mains of buttered chicken and lamb biriyani set the pace with bottles of superb Cobra cold lager to wash it all down ! The garlic naan bread was so fresh and table service excellent. Good value and well worth the trip away from the centre of Nanaimo. We will be in many more times ! Thanks again .

There is precious little to fault about this amazing buffet restaurant. Granted, the street parking can be a hassle and I'd probably not go anywhere near this sketchy neighbourhood at night, but once you're inside you will be treated to some truly superb Indian buffet dishes. (Note about Nanaimo crime... Downtown and Southside are at scary high USA-RustBelt-urban levels but go to North Nanaimo and the rates drop to nearly nothing... so stay away from the BAD areas and enjoy the good ones.)The Mutter Paneer, Vegetable Pakoras, the Chana and the Dal are exceptional, and the Butter Chicken is divine, but the best dishes on the buffet are the Beef and the Chicken Curry: Completely delectable and lip-smacking especially when sopped up with the savoury, toothsome, and marvelously charred Naan. Even the Kheer was wonderful with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The service is exceptionally attentive, the restaurant is aging but it's kept in excellent condition, and all in all, it's a truly great Indian Buffet!

The buffet lunch is steaming hot, delicious with so many choices from Meat curries to Vegetable currries. A large bowl of fresh vegetable salad to begin with. No sooner than you are seated by a very hospitable lady, than hot buttered Indian style bread arrives on your table. There is an extensive menu as well. As my husband and myself have been a few times, we can only say it is excellent. My husband use to go to school in India and he says the food is TOPS!
