Living close by we frequent this restaurant but I feel they are becoming a little complacent both with service and quality of food. Especially the service, our attendent was polite but had no or few knowledge about menu. When asked about a wine she had no clue what I was talking about and seemed completely lost. Poor Service. Not coming back again.We r extremly sorry for ur experience, as our regular waitress were on leave yesterday so the waitress was new on. Again we apologise for ur experience and request you to give another chance to us. Thanks

We went with friends who live in Nairne & have frequented this restaurant over the years.We were all disappointed. The starters were OK but nothing to rave about.For mains, I had a chicken korma which seemed to taste a lot of tomatoes & was not creamy. I have never had a korma like this before. Not overly pleasant.My wife had the fish curry which was acceptable.Our other guests had vindaloo, which was exceptionally hot as described & a chicken tikka masala which was over spiced.It is a shame that this restaurant is on our door step but didn't satisfy our expectations.

We were a table of five who went looking for somewhere to have dinner and stumbled on Indian Express. We might have stumbled there, but had to roll ourselves home (with some take home containers). The food was beautiful and plentiful and as some of the party had traveled to India a few years ago and had not come across this particular cuisine,they asked the owner, Raj and he indicated that it was from his homeland which was in Western India. Great food, great service. Thanks Raj.Thank you so much Peter.

As newbies to the area I was eager to try the only local indian restaurant at the time, but found the food to be really really oily and lacking in flavour. The lamb in the Korma (my favourite dish) was dry and tough. The restaurant itself was bleak - felt very unwelcoming and cold. Was glad I was only getting takeaway... luckily there are more options locally now!

Donât go past this great restaurant! Looks small from the outside but step in and you find dining tables set for patrons to relax and enjoy. Takeaways are available too.The staff are pleasant and helpful. The meals - second to none! You donât have to wait too long before they are served. Generous sizing, filling and just delicious. Give it a go. You wonât be disappointed.
