I went there on a Sunday night around 7pm. The restaurant was almost empty. I ordered a chicken curry and garlic nann. Nann is ok but the dish is ridiculously salty. Apart from salty I couldnât taste anything. Itâs horrible. I donât understand why they could still charge this much. Another incident is the napkin they provided for me has leftover food on it so clearly it didnât get washed properly but thatâs nothing to do with food quality but a small oversight really.

My husband and I stopped here to have lunch. The parking lot was full, which was a very good sign!Everything we tried was delicious and fresh! Definitely give them a try if you're in the area!

We visited Amber after a friendâs recommendation that this is the closest to Indian food you can get in Madison. I must admit that being quite spoilt, considering the abundance of Indian food in the UK, we keep our standards high, and unfortunately were not amazed by Amber. We found every single dish we tried to be extremely sweet, with some of them also being undercooked (thankfully only the vegetarian ones). Although the curries seemed to be well seasoned, their extreme sweetness covered the flavours which otherwise would be dominating the dishes. Thatâs a shame actually, cause the service was quite good.
