Wonderful experience, delicious food, and outstanding service by Sage! He was extremely friendly, informative, and funny and added to an exceptional evening. Our group had the samosas and duck tacos for appetizer. Those tacos were exceptionally good! For dinner, we had butter chicken, lamb roganjosh, nalli, and the fig and paneer dumplings in the cashew korma sauce. Omg the fig and paneer funneling were crazy good! So different and interesting. The sauce had a great little kick but not overwhelmingly spicy. As for the roganjosh, the lamb was so tender and the sauce was extremely flavorful! We can't wait to go back!
This restaurant opened three weeks ago and since we like Indian food, we were looking forward to trying it. We enjoyed a delicious dinner starting with appetizer of Chana Papdi Chat (spiced chickpea salad), Puri (light, puffy bread), Tandoori mixed grill (cubes of meat with vegetables) ,& Baingan Bhurta ( eggplant roasted and spiced). Every dish was prepared and spiced perfectly! The wait staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable, attractive, and included Indian music playing in background .They also serve an All U Can Eat buffet 6 days a week (closed Mondays). This restaurant is a great addition to the area and we are looking forward to dining there again soon.

Shloka is a welcome destination for fine Indian food served by eager to please staff. The choice of dishes is large and all are freshly cooked. Even though the cooking area is fully accessible from the restaurant, there is no pervasive odor common to many Indian eating establishments. For something different try the Carrot Soup. Eating at Shloka is always a pleasurable experience.
