The Yogi Purveyor of Fine Indian Cuisine has traveled far and wide across India to bring you the best of what land of India has to offer. We remain true to the flavours and techniques of the subcontinent and offer you a glimpse into traditional Indian dish
We were delighted, when our long-time friends and dining companions announced that they were booking a table here for a birthday celebration. Quite appropriate really, as we had tried most of the local and surrounding area Indian restaurants, so a return to our collective favourite was long over-due ! All together 14 of us attended that Sunday evening, a perfect number to completely occupy a long table and still have more than adequate personal space at the table. Apart from our party the restaurant was fairly quiet, quite a common but puzzling trait for this fine restaurant, which since our last visit has opened branches in Secret Harbour and Warnbro. Perhaps the slightly pricey tag which accompanies quality contributes to the presence of empty tables...Anyway, prior to attending we re-checked the 'B.Y.O' policy. This proved worthwhile, as only wine is allowed. A few of the other diners with us were caught out by the 'wine only' B.Y.O policy or were not aware of it at all. Handy to know if dining within a budget ! At Yogi's we have paid around $90 - 100 for two, including entrees, mains, sides and a drink. However, this time, as there were too many of us to share our mains with our companions, we decided to share our entrée, mains and sides between the two of us. As a result, coupled with bringing our own wine, we almost exactly halved our normal bill total. With so many of us in our dining party, a wide selection of dishes were ordered from the extensive menu...and whilst we were waiting, we snacked on the complimentary poppadoms. We decided on the onion badgees, the Yogi specialality goat curry dish and a side of raita. Service was pleasantly prompt, given the size of our party, with the usual Yogi friendliness and efficiency...The six badgees were large, crispy and were served with their own double dipping sauce. The goat curry was cooked to perfection, 'on the bone' with just the right curry sauce strength complimented perfectly with the raita. All dished were freshly cooked and served piping hot..There were no negative comments about our parties meals, apart from someone saying that they had too much sauce with their meal, for their liking. Quite impressive really, given the size of dining party...At the end we were allowed to pay as couples for what we had ordered. As usual, this excellent restaurant delivered on all levels and another return visit is assured ! Now, whose birthday is it next ha ha !

Just had dinner here with another couple. What this restaurant lacks in ambience, it certainly makes up for in authentic Indian flavours, with very generous servings. We had pakoras to start with, followed by chicken, lamb and beef curries, steamed rice and a butter naan. All quite different, and delicious, and we paid less than $20 per person. Being BYO keeps the price down as well. Unbelievably good value. We will definitely be back.

We are serving Authentic Indian Food Whereas Vegan And Gluten Free Meal also Available. Customers can choose Mild , medium or hot Curry
Ate here tonight, my wife having Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala for me. The sauces were fantastic as was the naan and the rice. The quality of the chicken, however, let the meal down badly. Mostly dark meat and poor quality. Could easily be the best curry house in the area if they improve that.
