Authentic Indian cuisine specialising in Peshawari style cooking located on Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay
Just love this place and have eaten here with a group of girlfriends for dinner and, on a few occasions, as a pre-theatre treat. They have great food options and cater extremely well for non-meat eaters and all dishes are very tasty. The staff are fabulous and always ready to answer any questions and/or offer great menu choices. They are aware of people being under a time-constraint if dining before a show and we cannot wait for our next Opera House performance and returning to the Spice Room for dinner first.Make sure you book as always very busy.

You have not had an outstanding Indian meal until you have eaten at Itihaas. First time visitor and and definitely not my last. The service was exceptional and the food outstanding. The menu range is vast and would accomodate most, including vegetarian and vegans. Located in the busy Church Street restaurant district, do yourself a favour and visit this little treasure.

We visited here on a Sunday evening for dinner and had a fantastic meal. My boyfriend had the chicken korma and I had the chicken tikka alongside rice and naan bread to share. They continued supplying water throughout the meal and asked twice if everything was okay. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. We will definitely return!

The restaurant is on the Liverpool Road in Burwood and getting parking can be a challenge. The food here is awesome and authentic Indian. We had the vegetable platter, assortment of breads, village special chicken curry and paneer kurchan. All of them were lip smacking good. The ambiance is ok but not fine dining. The service is very friendly and prompt.
