This is one of the most famous Indian restaurant in Kuwait. Both, vegetarian & non-vegetarian food items are available. Choice for vegetarian dishes is relatively less. It is excellent in terms of food quality, service & ambience. But, portion per dish is relatively less. Overall, it is a good place to enjoy lunch or dinner with friends & families.

Serene atmosphere, pleasant staff that gives you plenty of time to choose from the card - good selection of food but not over the top as you sometimes see with fully packed cards. Small starter from the house with papadums, great food thereafter. Great mango lassi, decent prices for food and drinks. Have the valet parking ticket stamped for free - a very pleasant experience indeed. Dear HB, It is a delight to read these positive words about the services provided including the ambience of Soul and Spice restaurant. We were looking forward to some good Indian food. After a long and tiring walk in the humongous avenues mall, feels good to have a scrumptious lunch and boy did Asha's delivered. The roti, the biryani, the chicken or the papad, all were top notch n not too pricey as well. A must go for all Indians that love classy Indian food.

I had a healthy and delicious lunch at Ashaâs, Marina Crescent. This is my first visit in 2017. The weather now is cool and breezy for an outdoor lunch. The marina branch is one of the best in the city. The worst branch was the emirates mall (Dubai). Madhu is the host at Ashaâs. She is from Calcutta. She worked as a therapist for 6 years before joining AshaâsMy initial visit was for a small platter of grilled Hammour (grouper) fish. I love how the Chef prepares seafood. The fish is diced into 6 pieces only. Madhu recommended the prawn coconut curry as well. Madhu says that it is delicious and worth trying. Prawn coconut curry is the highlight of the 2017 menu. The Prawns are cooked in a velvety ginger coconut sauce, with spring onions and blended with fresh tomato. I really loved the strong coconut flavor in the curry. However, I could not eat the prawns because they tasted like rubber! ! I do not think they were cooked properly. My main was fish hammour with coconut sauce curry on top, for the ultimate in flavor and wellness. My dessert was the Pistachio Kulfi with raspberries. Kulfi is a popular frozen dairy dessert from the Indian subcontinent. It is often described as "traditional Indian ice cream." The Kulfi is rich with delicious aromatic creamy texture. The Kulfi was topped with candyfloss and mint leaves. I love the flavor of rose in drinks and food; hence I always enjoy the Rose jam iced tea. It is a freshly brewed tea and lemon juice scented with rose water. I wish to see more seafood being served at Ashaâs such as the salmon biryani and introducing more Coconut flavor dishes.SEE photos of menu and my mains.Dear Ghadeer,Thank you so much for your review. I am reviewing this restaurant regarding my second visit, I went for dinner with my wife a daughter, having the impression for good service and tasty food of the prior visit, Unfortunately I was disappointed, first of all the service was poor, less staff and slow service, if you need some thing, you have to be lucky seeing a waiter not busy or passing through, also my wife and daughter ordered a shrimp dish, both got a chicken dish ! ?. But to be fair they replaced it back with the right selection and offered mye the two chicken plate free of charge which I am thankful, Food is too much salty , which I believe this is due most of Indian restaurants used MSG and a food coloring, I didn't enjoy the food taste as I did in my previous visit, therefore I am not sure if I will visit this restaurant back .
