Things to do in Kuah
Newly opened restaurant. Offers Malaysian Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian meals at an affordable price. Has two sitting areas, air conditioned and al fresco.
If you are looking for banana leaf, I think this is the best place in Langkawi. There are vegetarian & non vegetarian options. Price is reasonable compared to most Indian food available in this island.
Where to eat Korean food in Kuah: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The real originaly taste of indian & yameni middle eastern(arabic)cuisine...also have delivery service.
Food was excellent full of flavour, all 14 of us were happy with our meal. They offered both Arabic and Indian cuisine. Wouldâve been nice to get all of our meals around the same time, though this seemed to be the norm wherever we went in Malaysia

13 Years old of this restaurant, moved out from pantai ceneng to Ulu melaka, just 7 minuets drive from airport and 6 minuets drive from four season resort or Tanjung rhu resort, we provide pick up and drop on your request.Beautiful Panoramic view, lavish
Drawn by the reviews from previous patrons, we decided to see it (and eat it) to believe it. Guided by Waze, we found the restaurant in the suburbs of Jalan Ulu Melaka, Langkawi. The restaurant set up was cozy and intimate with a picturesque background of the padi fields. We started with vegetables pakora for starters.Pakora was fresh and crisp with aromatic spices. Deliciously spicy sambal belacan and salad was complimentary of the house. We ordered the dinner set menu with no regrets. A must have would be the very succulent and flavourful beef rendang which was the house special. Butter chicken massala, fish sambal and even the seemingly simple omelette takes your memory palate back to the warmth of home cooking. We finished off with mango kulfi for dessert which was definitely worth the calories. We were privileged to meet with Chef Pia, her husband Jimmy and her beautiful family. Overwhelmed by her love and passion for her cooking, writing this review is the very least we could do to show our gratitude for such memorable dining experience. Will definitely return!
Kedah, Malaysia Food Guide: 9 Thai food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Kuah

One of the few Chinese coffee shops in Langkawi that I am aware of. Quite a few stalls offering a reasonably wide selection of food. Food is quite good. Special mention should be made of the char siew wan tan kon lou mee, which was delicious. Teochew porridge was an affordable option with prices starting from RM2. Note that at night this place becomes Rootian Seafood Restaurant.

There aren't a great many decent looking restaurants in Langkawi and especially as vegetarians we decided we were better off looking for Indian style food which usually has good vegetarian options. We ordered tandoori roti breads but they were thin and crispy, not like the usual delicious roti breads you get in Malaysia (which are larger squares with layers and chewy inside and crispy outside). These were like thin dough gone stiff in a frying pan. We also had two vegetarian dishes - chana masala and paneer curry. The chana masala was okay but a bit oily, the paneer curry was suuuppper oily. Not worth the money.

God what a HUGEEEE difference compared with the nasi kandar that we had at Hamed Restaurant (near the jetty/waterfront) which was horrible - this place was de-li-cious!! Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in Langkawi - had their nasi kandar (their fried chicken was fresh and juicy). Will try their other dishes next time (which will be tomorrow :) haha). Reasonably priced.
