We had all of our family at home recently and it was unanimously agreed we had a carry out meal from the Curry Hoose. We werenât disappointed, staff were excellent as usual, and the food brilliant. We love a carry out from here.

I booked a table here for the Friday night buffet, glad I did as it was so busy. Amazing selection of curries, plenty of veggie dishes. About half a dozen starters, poppadoms, nan bread and rice. The different curries were explained to us by the friendly waiter that was serving our table. Even a small choice of fruit and ice cream finished off our meal. All for £13.95, great value. My only gripe is that my glass of wine cost £7.50. When I queried this I was told it was a large glass, I didnât order a large glass. Lesson learnt, next time I will stipulate what size wine I want. Maybe the waiter will ask what size glass ??Will eat here again.

Saffron Indian is a small restaurant and takeaway that has mum and dad in the kitchen cooking the most traditional, perfectly spiced curries through to modern Indian cuisines. We are a small restaurant that does not sell alcohol but we allow customers to
My partner and I were staying at lodges close to Inverness. We thought it would be good to order an Indian takeaway and take it back to the lodge. We researched best Indian takeaways in Inverness and Saffron appeared to be the best. I ordered a chicken tikka Bhuna and my partner ordered a chicken tikka garlic chilli masala. 1 garlic naan, 1 chapati and poppadoms with onion chutney - this came to £26.My tikka bhuna was not tikka chicken - there was about 5 pieces of chicken, i would go as far to say the chicken was ready cooked meat from a supermarket. The sauce was horrendous, was like watery soup with no flavour. Most tasteless curry I have eaten, 85% water. Hated it and did not feel full as you normally do with a real Indian curry. My partner thought his was the same, very watery and bland. The naan was very small and had a sweet taste. The chutney was chopped onion with a red dye, tasteless! The best thing was the poppadoms! I cannot believe the good reviews this place has. It was horrific, honestly the worst tasting, looking curry we have ever tasted and would not recommended this place to anyone. We wish we had bought a curry meal deal for 2 in tesco, as honestly that would have been tastier!

Called on a Sunday evening as part of a foursome which included a French couple. We were very well looked after from arrival to departure and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent and our French pals were most impressed. We felt the meal compared favourably with some of our excellent local Indian restaurant s here in Manchester.

Welcome to Sams, the home of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine where our menus are thoughtfully tailored to meet our guests tastes and expectations.
The first impression was good with the white, clean table cloths. The restaurant looks clean and the owner is there personally, although he did not bother to greet the patrons. My garlic naan was very disappointing, rubbery kind of texture and the taste was not right. The chicken Tikka Tandoori was excellent. Followed by chicken Masala which came in a fire-truck red sauce, which for my taste was too mild and too sweet (and too much sauce). The chicken used for both dishes was excellent (white) chicken breast, great. Service was good and the food came quickly. Nothing wrong here, but also nothing to write home about.

Our family of 8 (Mom and Dad, Aunt, Daughter and Son In Law, Son and Daughter in Law, Daughter) went for dinner. My sister is not into spicy-so the waitress let her try that soup, then brought it back to the kitchen to have them make it milder. Ordered 6 dishes, some Thai, some Indian, flavours were great, we shared the plates and had a side of incredible naan. They offer a dry martini-this is not a martini, but the waitress took the time to explain it and when I tried one (in lemonade) it was good. We went mild but although there wasnât a lot of heat, there was good flavour. For 8 of us it came to 120 pounds, so not too expensive
