Dinner hours are 5 -10 pm in this small but lovely Indian restaurant that breaks up the monotony of the surrounding fast food establishments. One of two locations in the Toledo area, this was convenient for those preparing to attend events at the nearby Stranahan Theater. Wide variety of Indian specialties including chicken, lamb, seafood, and vegetarian dishes, all prepared to order with choice of spice heat. Salad and Indian breads included with dinners. The Jewel (tandoori) chicken was enticing, but this trip we chose Fish Malabar Curry and Bengali Fish Curry with medium spice (plenty hot). Good wine list available as well, so allow plenty of time to savor the atmosphere and the cuisine. This was our first trip of many more to come. Will also try the Alexis Road location, convenient to the northwest part of town.

Very average food. We eat Indian quite a bit both locally, and while travelling. I have to say, while not bad, this was some of my least favorite Indian food. Very bland, and little flavor. We ordered via carryout and cannot asess sit down service, however there was an error in the order as well.Not sure it is a place we will try again.

This is our second visit with friends who eat here often. The first thing you notice is the amazing smell of the spices when you enter. The food here is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed chicken pagora for an appetizer. My wife had chicken vindaloo for dinner , I had lamb vindaloo. We both ordered medium hot. The heat was perfect! Word to wise, if you are not a fan of spicy hot, do not order medium, it will be to much for you. Our friends ordered shrimp vindaloo, and chicken Marsala. Again absolutely delicious! Also had some garlic naan, and absolute must order. We canât wait to return.
