very sweet spot, small selection for a buffet but certainly adequate... I gave it four stars rather than five since in comparison to my favorite-- Bolly wood bites.. there is a much more limited selection, the food is comparable in quality but the presentation was not there eitherjust fine, would not drive out of my way for this but if you are in the area it is goodfor example at Bollywood bites the naan is freshly made and hot and sizzling when it comes to the table, here is a packaged type bread-- OK but not specialat Bollywood bites there are several different salads-- here there is a pile of lettuce, another pile of cucumbers and a pile of sliced onion/ tomato-- fine but not especially well presented or complexservice was quick and efficient

I was exploring Orenco Station and decided to eat at Swagat Indian Cuisine. The outside and the inside of the restaurant is very appealing. I loved the decor of the restaurant and it seemed very upscale yet comfortable upscale. It was the nicest interior of an Indian restaurant I have ever been in. It is classy. The food was an all you can eat buffet and I loaded up with fresh Naan, Pakora vegetables, a creamy chicken dish which was very good, a vegetable curry that was very good, rice, Tandorri Chicken, and some other selections. The dessert was a mango custard which I enjoyed very much. I would recommend eating here. It is an effortless place to eat and the value is amazing.

The food is as good as everyone says it is. Itâs probably one of the best Indian restaurant in the Portland area. Itâs always full of Indian families. Iâm just always surprised at how expensive it is. Every dish is at least one or two dollars more than other Indian restaurants. There is always a wait too. We were there close to closing but we still had to wait. Go on a week night and donât look at the prices- the flavors are really excellent.

Went as a friend was raving about the pizza, which I did not find to be that satisfying. Budget buffet place with a wait staff which would rather be doing anything else. Careful with chicken entries as they let if boil off the bone. Odd layout and they could be quicker refreshing the trays of food. Reminds me of a restaurant in a hospital basement for some reason.
