Hatta is a picturesque 115 km (71 miles) drive east of Dubai City, boasting a milder climate due to its location in the rugged Hajjar Mountains and a popular vacation getaway from the heat of Dubai. Its authentic Arabic “heritage village” featuring two military towers from the 18th century, an old Juma mosque (1780), and 30 loame houses is worth visiting. Although activities and shopping are limited, adrenaline junkies often visit Hatta for off-road adventures in the desert or mountains including a stop at the Hatta Rock Pools, narrow windy canyons of smooth rock with pools of blue-green water. Please note that 20 kilometers of the drive from Dubai takes you through Oman. Although no immigration or customs issues, rental car insurance usually won’t cover accidents in Oman.

The food was amazing we had the saffron set menu. This let us try a few different things for starter and mains. A few stood out. For starter the spiced cod and chicken tikka. For mains the butter chicken was amazing. I would go back purely for this. Our son who is six ate from the kids menu that had many choices. Our waiter also took himAnd showed him around the open kitchen and bar areas. Which he loved. They have outdoor seating that I wish I had chosen but we were worried about the heat so chose to sit inside. Our son got to watch the fountain show from a viewing platform outside many times through the night. We plan to visit again when we return to Dubai.

We been yesterday on 24 floor on Asian buffet night . Buffet is tasty, sushi , sashimi, biryani , thai dishes , Asian soups , wok...... AMAZING .... and on top great delicious desserts. Value for money is great + included drinks = smart price !!!Service was very friendly and fast in requests . WE had birthday child Lady who became 30 years old and staff made cake with candle and song . I dined at Feast during their Grand Grill Tuesday which has both seafood and meat live grill. Both seafood and grill were quite good! They had Arabic, Indian and Asian cuisine sections apart from the Live Grill area. Tasted almost all the dishes on display at the buffet and most of the dessert - most of the dishes were really, really, really good. Staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. Shout out to Charity, Jobin, the amazing Chefs and one of the waiters that looked like from an Eastern European country whose name I don't know!Recommendations:- Mention if a dish has some spiciness to it - I don't now if it was on the name card and I just did not take a notice to it. We were staying at the Fairmont and actually tried all the restaurants there during our stay. This was by far the best (which we kept until last), with Ba being our second choice that we also enjoyed. LMI is excellently decorated, and has different rooms - you can be in the kitchen, the garden, the living room. We didn't seem to have a choice but sat in the living room (we think) right next to the chef's kitchen (where u can see them cook). Service was excellent - thank you Arvind - he was very attentive, funny and made the experience more enjoyable. Miss India also came round and greeted her guests. My wife fangirled - until I told her this miss India is a character not the real one!! Which didn't faze her, she still wanted a photo. The food was excellent, Im just sorry I couldn't eat more! We had seek kebab for starter and the tandoori raan lamb dish which came with dhal for mains. Being from an Indian household we found the food authentic and delicious, my wife particularly loved the dhal. Loved the concept of the naan on top of the lamb dish. The chef also came out to greet us and recommended the delicious gulab jamun with pistachio and we had the Ras Malai too. Overall brilliant experience, trust the reviews that it's one of the best in Dubai and expect the price to match!! We loved the ambiance of the restaurant; from the entrance, to the paintings, to the décor and lighting. The restaurant is really big and can accommodate all types of group. The food is delicious and has a decent options for veg items too. The Awadhi Tarkari is a good combination of spinach and mixed veg; something different than the usual palak paneer option. The biryani was good too with such fresh aromatic fragrance. Our server Mr. Murali and attendant Mr. Randeep was friendly too and provided a good service.We visited the restaurant to celebrate my motherâs 55th birthday,; they gave us a complimentary cake which surely put a smile on our face. Would love to visit the restaurant again during winter for the view.The only thing we were little unhappy was after dinner the table was not cleant properly inspite of telling them again and since we wanted to cut the cake. However it was still dirty.
