Went there with a Chinese friend by chance.Actually we went to the Mall with an intention to have seafood in a different restaurant and unfortunately saw a heavy rush in that restaurant. We than thought of going to a Japanese Restaurant nearby (ground floor/yard). However, when we were moving towards the elevator, an Indian gentleman approached and requested us try food here in Lal Qila. I asked if they cater Halal food and they confirmed they did. So, I opted to try food with my friend there.The staffs were very cooperative and the waiter helped us to chose the menu too.The quality is average I should say but the mango lassi was splendid.

Saffron is located in the center of Hangzhou, attached with a big hotel "Four point by Sheraton". It is very good place for Indian food lovers, with saffron flavor, well decorated nicely maintained on hygienic aspects. Owner of the restaurant is a Punjabi guy, so really able to serve the true taste of Punjab/India. I find it a best place in Hangzhou for Indian/Asian food, additionally it also serves Chinese dishes. Have a team of chef Indian and Chinese. It is a place to ponder a must visit.

It was a quick order on telephone as we were rushing to the west lake show . We ordered while driving and by the time we reached everything was almost ready. Food was authentic and specially the dosa was good and the rajma as well . Given a chance shall come here again
