Kappad, the benchmark of kerala cuisine, which takes full advantage of the lands produce ; Excellent seafood, fresh fruits, vegetables and fine meat. The food food in Kappad invariably rich and aromatic.Kerala known as âSpice Garden of Indiaâ because it traded
The food here is incredible! You will not find any chicken tikka masala or madras as the menu is entirely different and features authentic South Indian dishes only.Everything is delicious and presented beautifully. If you order popadoms you will find they come in different types and shapes and taste !My wife had a fish masala curry and I had a spicy chicken curry both of which were superb. For a side dish we had a very unusual dish of crab and peas which was excellent.I have eaten in many Indian restaurants but this was definitely one of the very best I have ever eaten in as was the food. The service is outstanding and completely by surprise the waiters brought out a birthday cake for me ( along with singing happy birthday!) as my wife mentioned it was my birthday treat.I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough !We will be back for certainDear Dennisogara,Thank you very much for your kind review! Cannot fault this place at all. The staff are amazing and really attentive and the food is delicious and affordable. Only recommendation would be to offer more dishes. Coming from an Indian family it would be great to see more dishes that I was brought up on.

Amazing food and great service. Possibly the best Indian Iâve had, including eating in New Delhi. Portions are not large but possibly the best flavours and quality of food Iâve ever experienced so totally worth the money. I live many miles away but will definitely return to eat here and experience the great flavours and service again.

First time eating here and I was not disappointed. Service good, everyone really friendly and helpful. Amazing menu to choose from and I really enjoyed the starter and main I had. A nice touch with a free drink at end of meal, although I turned this down as I don't drink spirits. Will definitely go back and eat here again.Dear eph9,Thank you for your feedback. We had a great value Travelzoo voucher for 2 courses and a glass of fizz. The setting is idyllic, the young staff are lovely and very efficient and the food is fabulous. As we walked in I saw the Thai menu and assumed it was only available on certain nights, so was very pleased to be given this menu as well as the standard one as it was included in the deal. The curry was very pleasingly hot (maybe too much for some people but perfect for me!). A great place, and I hope to return.

Olive is a naturally authentic Indian restaurant based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. We aim to bring you regional dishes from around India as well as traditional favourites. All our curries contain 100% natural ingredients and we do not use any
We had dinner at The Olive this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the service was very good. We would definitely recommend The Olive.

Been several times, different days and different times but one thing always consistent is service, greeting, staff and amazing food, wether you try something different or stick to the korma or tikka you won't be disappointed, with little touches like bringing over a sparkly birthday desert or the staff recommending and discussing the menu, a great place for lunch or dinner, makes a couple feel just as welcome and special as a large partyWill definitely be a regular visit

Taste of India is a new restaurant in High Wycombe, opened by pioneers of the Indian Curry Revolution in the UK.We prepare pure Indian food using spices and ingredients from diverse parts of India, following our traditional recipe.
We just gave it a try.....we live in Amersham and we were all really impressed by the choice and freshness of the food. Nan bread cooked when we were ready so it was super fresh and warm.....even fresh watermelon afterwards which was really refreshing. We will definitely be back as it was great value and delicious. Staff smiley too!

The staff and service is top notch. The food is diabolical. We British make better curries at home than this place does.I make better poppadoms at home by brushing Sharwoods pack of 8 with oil and microwaving for one minute. Once the Microwave has made a couple and warmed up you get bubbles as if they have been properly fried. New Akash's are woeful.I make better yoghurt based tumeric and mint sauce and onion salad than this rubbish.Their mango chutney is watered down drivel. Sharwoods in a jar is better and Patak Lime Pickle is far superior. As for the starters and main courses I'm just too bored to even start contemplating where it comes from and how it is prepared. Even the plain boiled rice was just a mush, tasteless and certainly not a nice and simple prince of rice Basmati. I am sick and tired of the falling standard of food in our high street curry houses. Take me back to 1970's curry houses in Birmingham somebody please !
