Discover Restaurants offering the best Indian food in Goma, North Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Goma is the capital city of North Kivu province in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located on the northern shore of Lake Kivu, next to the Rwandan city of Gisenyi. The lake and the two cities are in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift system. Goma lies only 13 to 18 km due south of the crater of the active Nyiragongo Volcano. The recent history of Goma has been dominated by the volcano and the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, which in turn fuelled the First and Second Congo Wars. The aftermath of these events was still having effects on the city and its surroundings in 2010. The city was captured by rebels during the M23 rebellion in late 2012, but has since been retaken by government forces.

Was a bit disappointed with the Buffet. Had been there couple of times but every time even when you are the first customer, the food is cold and bland. My new friends were really disappointed with the quality of buffet food. All the owner does is apologizes. The place is on a dusty road, so you will get the sandy feel on the tables and cutlery. So make sure you wipe them off with tissue papers before eating.Another issue you will have here is with the waiters. They will never understand your order and will always bring wrong items.Take it for a simple Tea. You clearly order Indian milk tea, but the waiter will bring black tea and will insist that is what was ordered and will argue with you until the owner steps in and fixes it. I will not name it, but there's another place down the main road which is far better and the food tastes much more better.

Near the Ihusi hotel, Le Volcan is a fun hangout place to watch sports, play some pool and have some great food. The environment is perfect - not too loud or crowded. The service is excellent and there are plenty of meal options to choose from. I personally enjoyed their beef biryani dish as well as their chicken tikka. I wish we had this variety of options with efficient service and affordable prices back in Kinshasa. If you're in town with friends or co-workers, stop by Le Volcan for a festive experience.Thank you very much for your kind review
Most Popular Pizza food in Goma, North Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
The best place to go for an Indian meal in Goma. The restaurant specializes in dishes from Hyderabad and has a large, and sometimes bewildering, selection. Everything for carnivores and vegetarians and most in-between.Portions are generous, so it's possible for the not-so-hungry to share, making it excellent value for money.Best for dinner during the week because it gets very busy on the weekends and somewhat rowdy when there is a big football match on.Friendly and attentive staff & good food. Highly recommended.

Good Indian food. Cold beer. Some of the staff are not trained at all and lazy-kind of sitting around. The chef is more competent in terms of table service than the waitresses. Food is lovely. Except the burger. Good place for a pub-ish night out with a soccer game.
