It is home to one of the oldest Spanish military air bases and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Within the city is the Cerro de los Ángeles, or Hill of the Angels, a site considered the geographical center of the Iberian Peninsula. Getafe is located 13 km south of Madrid's city centre, within a flat area of Spain's Meseta Central in the Manzanares River basin.

This restaurant is located in El Bercial neighborhood, a relatively new zone which has been recently built and it is getting more and more inhabitated. Moreover, it is situated in an unsurpassable location as long as you go by car since there are plenty of possibilities to find a place to park at once. I wish I would say the same about going by public transport but I am afraid it wouldn't be easy if you choose this way to get the restaurant.There are plenty of appetizers but from what I could gather from checking the menu out the best way to try all of them is choosing a combo which contains chicken samosa, vegetables samosa, cheese's rolls, pakora and so on and it costs the resonable price of 10 euros.It would be desirable that the restaurant could offer a wider range of menus at the weekends because there is only one sample menu which I found a little bit expensive (21 euros per person) although this price doesn't surprise me at all.We also ate pilau rice and a kind of chicken whose name I don't remember unfortunately. We were so stuffed that there wasn't room for dessert.I would strongly recommend everyone to try this restaurant, either those who love the indian food or people who cannot really passionate about it since as I have mentioned before, Basant proves to be a perfect mixture of italian and indian food.It is a good place whether you have out-of-town guests and you like show them something different. I strongly believe it won't let you down

Very tasty food with nice, friendly service,I went with friends based on the Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. The waiter spoke enough English to be understood and to understand me, although my friends spoke fluent Spanish and live locally in Leganes. The restaurant is well known and has a good reputation with the locals. I had my usual Dansak but this time with fish (most unusual), with Peshwari naan and Sag Aloo. My friends had a meat Dansak and a Tikka. All in with a couple of beers and a glass of wine, the meal came to under 60 euros. All dishes were tasty, hot and served with a smile. I would highly recommend and would go again without hesitation

My wife and I visited this restaurant on 16th April 2019. At 8pm we were the only two in. No music and silent. We ordered two curries with rice. As it was silent we could hear the kitchen, we could hear NO cooking just the ping of the microwave. Clearly the food and rice was pre prepared, in a short time our curries arrived, the rice was steaming and the two curries were cold. It was not cheap at â¬10 per dish and it was NOT freshly cooked. Absolutely dreadful, tbe worst curry i have experienced. We got up and left as we did not trust the food quality. Dear Sir,We sincerly apologize for your unpleasent experience with us. I can assure you that the food in our restaurant is make on a daily basis. We are totally taken back with your comments as we make sure that our food is always freshly made. Quite possible that the rice was being warmed in the Microwave as we make rice normally twice a day otherwise rest of the platters and Indian bread is all made instantly on the clients order. It is very difficult to have all the variety of dishes premade as very dish is it's own taste. It would be a pleasure to have you back again so that you can change your opinion. We have been receiving lots of comments from our regular and new clients and all of them have a very high opinion specaily about our food.
