KC's is a small, local place with great food. Delicious Indian curry, naan and rice. Lunch has a limited menu but it's plenty and everything I'd order anyway. Dinner has a larger menu. Everything I've had there is very, very good. My family and I go at least once a month. The staff is very friendly and speak English.

My family loves Indian food so we've tried many local Indian restaurants. While none of them are bad, there's a reason why Birashi *sic* has become our go to place. For lunch I get the "A set" which includes a cabbage based salad with the most delicious dressing! following that is the curry of the day with fresh and piping hot naan, and saffron rice. Add in a set drink of Lassi for ¥150 and for ¥830 total you won't want to go anywhere else!

Once we figured out where this place was (map was incorrect - hopefully fixed), we enjoyed a very good mix of Indian food. The place can seat fairly large groups and the staff adjusted well to the large influx of people. They played Bollywood videos the entire time, which added to the entertainment. The food was fresh and tasty. Large portions (easy to share) and freshly baked naan made right on site. Nothing to complain about here. Recommend ordering the Taj special, as it gives you a little of everything for a good price. As for drinks, I enjoyed the class, which is a yoghurt based sweet beverage. The prices are reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. Overall, a nice little treat in this little part of Japan.

This restaurant located within a department store downtown is a great break from Japanese food if you want something with some spice and heat. The menu for lunch offers a 3 item meal with a drink included for a very reasonable price. If you like hot, spicy curry you can easily order it here using the menu in English with photos. The nan is wonderful; quite a large portion if you get the regular size and served piping hot. The garlic version is delicious. Spice is available in about four levels and we took the "very hot" version which was just right. Eating very hot food in the summer helps cool you off and my chili spiced chicken did the trick. Don't overlook the saffron rice that is offered at a small extra charge- it is the perfect accompaniment to a spicy dish. Looking forward to more visits to try different items like the fish curry.

I recently went to Curry-Gon on a Monday night, and when I arrived everyone else was just leaving. The dining room isn't large, with seating for maybe 20 including the bar. The "mama-san" indicated a table for me, and I sat and ordered quite quickly. I ordered Pork Curry, and was surprised when mama-san brought me a salad. It was simple, garnished with cherry tomatoes and thinly sliced peppery ham. The main course didn't disappoint! It tasted homemade with a nice portion of pork throughout the curry. The portion, however, wasn't huge, but was enough. I left feeling like I had eaten, without feeling like a pig. I was surprised when I got the bill and it was only ¥980. I thought it would be ¥1100 or so.
