Was recommended this place by a friend a few month ago and have been everyweek since. Food is delicious and the portion size is great. Staff go above and beyond to help make your visit enjoyable. Great choice for kids on the new menu and prices are fab. Keep up the good work guys, our new local :)

Popped in here as I fancied Indian, and my wife didn't. Both dishes were really good- the curry was better than some Indian restaurants, an my wife's chicken was apparently good too. Great service from the pleasant staff too. Not the cheapest, but not too pricey either.

Goa was recommended to us as the best curry in Dundee. Arrival was a bit off putting with a large group of well lubricated guest just exiting - okay it was Friday night! The restaurant had been busy but the tables and areas around were not clean. Menu was rather uninspiring, every combination of everything! Ordered 'standard' curries which were quite good. Breads were good though! Nothing special or outstanding on the drinks front. All in all, very average - bit disappointing really - did not meet expectation!!

Firstly they donât sell non alcoholic drinks, a friend of mine who was driving asked if they had any and the guy behind the bar laughed in his face. Secondly, the food on menu was quite expensive. We decided not to stay. But you get 10% discount if staying next door.

Our award-winning restaurant has remained a family business since 2003, serving authentic, great tasting Indian food in a contemporary, comfortable atmosphere.
Rude behaviour, no etiquettes. No respect for customers.will never recommend to anyone. A very bad experience of lifetime.Had to give 1 ratting as no option of 0As I understand the situation, you requested a single table for yourself on the top floor of our restaurant, which is our function suite and reserved for parties of 20 or more people. We are sorry but we simply cannot open up an entire floor for one person. Regards, Dil'se

The Gulistan House founded in 1979 is a long established restaurant, cafe and takeaway located in a historic gothic church in Dundee's Broughty Ferry. It is a champion of hospitality being one of Tayside's longest established eateries of 40 years. It is s
I am glad that the restaurant welcomes genuine reviews and having read recent feedback such as 'awful customer service and mouldy food', 'takeaway hell', 'poor quality food - dark and dingy', 'extremely disappointing' and 'seems to have lost it's touch', I must admit that I was somewhat sceptical about visiting this old favourite. Having ordered a meal for myself and my partner, we found the service was poor and the food was a mere shadow of the quality the Gulistan was renowned for.The meal was lukewarm, chicken was tough and nan bread was soggy, although most of it went in the bin. This is no longer my go to curry house, unfortunately!!Hi CHDDee, saddened to learn we did not live up to our your high expectations of us! Please accept our apologies and we hope to welcome you back in the future and to fare better.

Been here a couple of times this year and itâs always been really good! However tonight was exceptional. The service was absolutely fantastic. Canât fault them! The prices are very competitive, the food excellent, house red and white yum, the restaurant; lovely ambiance. We had mixed starters, popadoms, mixed chutneys, followed by lamb dhansaak, lamb tikka masala, and their half tandoori chicken. All food was flavoursome and well presented, especially the dhansaak! We plan to eat in Indos very soon.

Taza has serving fresh Indian food since 2003. We are well known in the community for our constantly changing menu thanks to our time served, formally trained Chefs from India and Pakistan. We have a relaxed and friendly style of service which is apprecia
Food was varied and very good. Much variety and you just helped yourself. Only downside is their policy to charge if you do not finish the Meal. Thanks for choosing Taza and for your review. Purely for clarification, we would like to point out to that we do not charge for people not finishing their meal. We charge for excessive food waste. It is not a zero food waste policy, we do allow some wastage, just not too much though. There is information on the table which clearly shows what we consider excessive. At a buffet where you choose your own portion size, you are completely in control of how much you put in your plate, if you are trying something new it's always wise to put in a lesser quantity, you can always go back for more as many times as you like.

The restaurant has been open since March 1999 and customers are still flocking to sample the high-quality food and enjoy the bright, attractive surroundings. We cater for large parties and private functions. Booking is recommended and our staff will be on
We were taken here by friends. The interior is pleasant. The menu was very enticing and I saw dishes I've never seen on more bog standard menus. The food was delicious even the pickles are made in house . Everything tasted great and we eat very well for around £25 a head.
