Rugbyâs newest restaurant serving some of the very best and exclusive dishes in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine...
Tried a take away from here tonight, not met with any pleasantries when I arrived, only 2 people dining In there at 7:45 on a Saturday night surprised me !! I did not get 10% discount on collection (even though It states this) and they even charged me service charge !! When I got home there was no salad & mint yogurt with the starter (obviously costs them too much) starter was ok.......main course Chicken Dupiaza tasted nothing like a Dupiaza, the Chicken pieces very dry and chewy, Keema nan had hardly any meat In It, Rice was nice though, First time that I have used this place and the last time, will not be returning !!

Famous bangladeshi and Indian Restaurant in Rugby serving Indian and Bangladeshi food for last 28 years.
Problem with the place is that the food is quite tasty when you eat it. The service is alright. However the next day be prepared to attach yourself to the throne. Reflects the hygiene rating from the food standards authority.HI Simon, we appreciate the fact you enjoy our food. We take huge pride in ensuring our services are as good as they can be and will definitely take your comment on board to further improve that. However, our hygiene is rated a perfect '5 STARS', given by the government hygiene authority, thus find your latter comment slightly unfair. Any issues you may have in the future, be sure to contact us and we shall make sure everything suits your needs.

We make Indian and Bangladeshi delicious traditional food for the customers. We also make vagan and vegetarian food as well halal food too.
Not what it used to be, had a take away of Tandoori mixed grill which was very over cooked. My partner had a combo option which was bland and tasteless. Had popadoms with a poor selection of options. Over all a very poor meal and will not be ordering from this business again. A real shame as this used to be my go to restaurant.Apologize for unconvinient couse. Customers satisfaction is our motto. Thanks for your feedback which can make us more and more alert...Xx

Real home style Indian cooking - Our Menu has been created to demonstrate the range of exciting flavours and ideas that can be found in Indian cooking without compromising on quality & freshness.
First visit to this restaurant, easy 5 minute walk from the railway station. Did not have starters other than popadoms and chutneys which were good. Main course for me was the Jalfreizi, this was quite hot but very good. Other main courses in our group were also very good. Only negative was the 2 for 1 offer which was not honoured in full. Would return if visiting Rugby.

This was the first time my husband and I have eaten at Dosa Village. We enjoy our Indian takeaways so we were looking forward to this. It exceeded our expectations. The food was different to your typical takeaway and so delicious. Every dish that was brought out was fresh and tasty and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. We will definitely be back and have already been recommending it to friends and family.

First time attempted to deliver an hour early; then moaned at me for not being available immediately to accept delivery. I received the same food an hour later that had been sat under a hot lamp for the duration, not safe to eat and went in the bin (£15 wasted).I tried again a few weeks later and was waiting early in anticipation just in case. This time I was told I had ordered at the wrong time and it wasn't convenient for them(!). So we must order when they want us to, whether they claim to be open or not, and our money is only good when it suits them - another £15 wasted in the bin. Avoid at all costs.

As a party of 9 we had a superb meal at the Curry Club on a Friday evening. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the excellent service continued throughout the duration of our meal. Both Ray and Jay looked after our needs, everyone commented on the excellent quality and taste of their main dishes after the usual popadom and pickle starter tray. I can highly recommend this restaurant and whilst it is located slightly outside the main town centre, it is certainly worth a visit - highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate using again if visiting the area!

Visited Malancha with friends in the evening. We had 2 tandoori combinations, chicken handi and chicken khasia. Naan breads, roti and poppadoms. All in all the portion size was very small for what you paid. A tandoori combination is £12.95, and consists of 1 chicken leg, a seekh kebab, and 3 pieces of chicken tikka. The curries were 10.95 each and were child size portions with about 3 small pieces of chicken in each curry. The naan breads were also small. The tandoori roti was small and parts of it were uncooked. We were all still hungry when we left. The bill came to around £68, this is without drinks as we had a jug of water.I don't think it was worth the money even after we used the promotional voucher which gives £20 off.
