Had a fabulous Caribbean meal tonight. Having said that, the food here is always good, not just on a themed night. We also came here on Tuesday, as a family of 4 and had one of the best curries we've ever tasted and the steamed cod was exceptional! Oh and I have to mention that the strawberry daiquiri is well worth a try!Many thanks for your great review we are really pleased you enjoyed your meals and visits to the Ship & Pilot. We are staying at Warcombe Farm and wanted a takeaway that was a bit different from burgers and fish and chips. Lovely home cooked food! We ordered Chicken Curry and Thai Red Curry and both were delicious. I found this takeaway on TripAdvisor and it lives up to it's 5 star reviews. We will be camping again next year and will definitely be visiting again.

Visiting the town for the first time, my partner and I came to this restaurant. The service was appalling. The place was empty apart from one table. We were shown to a table by one very rude man who answered questions about the menu in a very curt and disrespectful manner. We requested to be served by someone else and we're asked to leave.
