Surprisingly upscale and delightful decor, don't let its location in a strip mall fool you. Amazing large menu, a whole page of vegetarian offerings. Large portions, delicious food and excellent service. The Shahi Paneer had great flavor, mango lassies were sweet and creamy. Best vegetables pakora ever. Huge portions, great prices, good service.

We were looking for Indian food in the Hunt Valley area. However, we were tired of being underwhelmed and wanted something better than the usual places in the area. Our search led us to Royal Kitchen in Cockeysville.Daughter ordered CTM (Chicken Tikka Masala). She said the chicken was tasty and the gravy was perfectly spiced. I had the Chicken Kadai. Chicken was tasty. Nice, flavorful tomato-based gravy. Quite nice. The rice was perfectly cooked. Naan was just o.k. but not on the same level of the rest of the food. They even through in a small desert for free. Prices are very reasonableSolid 4 out of 5 with potential to hit 5 all the way around. Better than every Indian place weâve tried in the Hunt Valley area. We will order from the again (possibly this weekend)
Most Popular Seafood food in Cockeysville, Maryland, United States
This area has been sorely lacking a good Indian restaurant that goes beyond bland, watered down American favorites. The Mint Leaf goes a long way to filling this gap. The menu has some interesting alternatives, including goat, multiple lamb dishes, and a variety of fish and seafood. All of the food was well prepared, although it could have been a bit hotter in temperature when served. My favorite was the fried cauliflower appetizer, and the mixed pickles were also amazing. Service was good, and the food arrived promptly. I was also impressed by how nice the interior decor was. It's a very pleasant setting to eat in.

The staff, with whom we've been familiar for more than 10 years, seem to have had major turnover. The new maitre d' was overwhelmed during our visit and said he's planning to quit. The breads aren't what they were; the naan just okay, and the alu paratha was doughy. Meat was tough. The saag spices were still excellent.
