Got a chicken rogan josh, looked nice, came in good time and didnât wait long but the curry itself was tasteless and wasnât at a spicy or had any flavour. Also got a chicken tikka naan wrap which consisted of a couple of bits of chicken in a huge naan, waste of money wonât be visiting again.

After this was recommended to us even though it was an hour round trip, we decided to try the Bengal Chilli. We were highly delighted with such a warm greeting from the staff. It is quite a small takeaway but very efficient . The food was very good, very tasty and good quality and it was piping hot even after 30 mins drive home. We also tried it again and it was still as good if not better than the first. They offer a reward card too with money off after so many takeaways. If you like good quality tasty food and great service, then you should try the Bengal chilli.

Great little restaurant bring your own wine, beautiful flavoursome food.
We came based on the reviews we read, but the restraint was very tightly arranged with chairs knocking into each other. The poppadoms were nice and crispy but the dips very ordinary. Our biggest disappointment was the biryani - no flavour or spice and the curry sauce that came with it tasted like oxo cubes. Fortunately, it was separate. The other main was bland and difficult to find any flavour let alone spice. Reading the other reviews we must have had a bad deal, but won't be going back.

Accidentally stumbled across this restaurant but what a find! Lovely chutneys and dips with poppadoms to start. I liked all of them, especially the seasonal pumpkin chutney. For the main, I had the chickpea mild curry with jeera rice, which was super flavoursome and made me crave for more. The spices were so fragrant and well balanced. The fluffy jeera rice went with the curry brilliantly. In between the two courses, they brought out a complementary dahi puri. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Reserved a table for an early tea. Opens at 5.30, no need to book at this time very quiet. 1st in, all tables set, looked very clean and tidy. Old favourites on menu and some unusual dishes. All food well cooked and well presented. Hand wipes supplied after the meal. Chocolates with the bill. Staff very friendly and knowledgable about the dishes. A few parking spaces available at the side of the restaurant and parking on the high street. Well lit, tables a mixture of sizes and booths available that sit 6 for bigger parties. Visited for the first time and didnât have a table booked. The staff were very accommodating. The curries were perfectly spiced and the onion bhajis unlike any other! One niggle, in that water isnât served as standard (as it usually is in most restaurants). I asked for some and was brought one glass of it. The chicken tikka starter was quite dry and tasteless. All starters came on a bed of salad. Ordered a plain naan and it was perfection-not too thick or doughy. The whole place, including toilets, was spotlessly clean. The bill seemed very reasonable for what we ordered.
