Went here with my family for dinner. As usual we received a warm, friendly greeting and sat at our usual table. Glasses quickly arrived for our drinks (itâs not licenced for slcohol but you can bring your own drink)I ordered something that was not on the menu but it was superbly made and hit the spot. A thoroughly enjoyable dish. I highly recommend this place.

We started with poppadoms and a few starters to share (all great) but then the real treat came......the Garlic Chicken (off the bone) was simply stunning!!Ideally spiced, great heat and great flavour.....mushroom rice and kheema Naan to accompany were also very nice.......all the other people I was with commented that their food was also delicious. Good value for money (£36pp with drinks) and good service. Worth a visit!!

We saw in a magazine an add for 50% of food bill in a magazine so we thought we would give this restaurant a go... well it started well.. poppadoms were nice the drinks were okay except tonic water Which my mum and I asked for turned out to be soda water ... donât think the staff could determine the difference. So we ordered food. Mum being a veggie .. her meal was good . She liked her curry .. mine was good more chick pea then chicken but I enjoyed it .. my husbands was a disaster . Very dry and over cooked mixed grill. The manager was apologetic and did take his meal of the bill. I think the 50% off food is a way for getting business but then the quality is let down as they become very busy and also doing takeaways to so the pressure is on . After personal recommendation from friends and family my husband felt let down by his mixed grill as he is a great Indian food lover . So some aspects were good and some need to be Addressed by the owners . But the important thing of the night is that my mum enjoyed her meal as it was a birthday treat for her .

Have been coming here for many years, the food and service are excellent. Nowhere does as good Garlic Chilli Chicken as Bilash. Tried another Indian restaurant tonight for a change, outside of the town, but wish we hadnât bothered. Next time we will just go to Bilash!

We went this evening to celebrate my dadâs birthday. You couldnât fault either the food or service, both amazing!! As it was my dadâs birthday they gave him a free dessert and a gift. As well as a free liquor for all five of us. Lovely staff, gorgeous food and reasonably priced. Highly recommended! Definitely will be returning.

Had a takeaway last night which arrived spot on time. Food was great as usual, a variety of dishes with first timers eating who were also very impressed with the quality.Just one suggestion, please throw in free popadoms. This is the only Indian I have ever come across that doesnât do this which is a tad disappointing. However not enough to knock the rating down as we do love having this on our doorstep.

Went with my husband and friends on a Saturday evening, really busy, poppadoms and dips were lovely, so was all the food, large portions, especially veg, but then it'was more expensive then the indian restaurants around grays, which is where I live, the staff were efficent, my only gripe is no complimentary drinks at end of meal, all indian restaurants, around my area always offer a complimentary drink, but we did enquire in ithe rose of india, to be told, that,they were busy, so why would we give away free drinks, well a thank you to the customer would be nice, and a free drink, would just fit that bill maybe not recommend this place, or visit again, in the future, a free drink, makes all the difference

I have been a regular customer for the past 3 years. We have been several times with friends and family. Absolutely delicious aromatic original dishes from Kerala served with love. Fazila manages the front of the house while Aji her husband and the chef churns out these authentic dishes youâd never have tasted before. Not your regular curry house stuff. You will be totally blown away. I always look forward to my Live Dosa trips eagerly. Give it a try and you will wonder why have you waited this long.

Went for a birthday lunch for my brother today and we all enjoyed the food.There were not that many people there today it being a Sunday I guess, the service was fast and efficient and the waiter was friendly and helpful.Would not hesitate to go back if we are around in Chelmsford again.
