Lots of history and fame over the years it seems. Not an area youâd expect a restaurant to thrive so that must say plenty! The starters were actually a bit disappointing. They were interesting and nice dishes but kind of bland really, especially once in hindsight weâd had mains. (Lamb omelette thing and paneer thing!)Main courses - amazing. One chicken dish one lamb dish.So flavourful, great portions. Very good sides - naan breads and rice.Drinks really reasonable. Decor is lovely and service is good. This is not a bog standard âcurryâ. Spoilt in Cheltenham for this kind of food - not the same as Prithvi, Bhoomi fine dining style... but quite like say Koloshi. More familiar south asian cuisine but done very well.

First visit to this restaurant and glad I did! Great food and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. We had pani puri, chicken lollipops and tandoori chicken for starters and my wife and I were very impressed! The mains were lamb rogan josh and goat curry. The meat was tender and plentiful and the spice great. We have been to several Indian restaurants in Cheltenham and this is number 1. We will definitely being visiting again and again and again.HiThank you for your review Regards BOMBAY and Co

This lovely restaurant was recommended to us by a member of staff at our hotel in Cheltenham. The food was delicious, staff were very friendly and gave excellent advice about food choices. Beautifully clean, great service and value for money. Would highly recommend.

INDIAN BBQ & SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT We serve a selection of traditionally barbecued meats and vegetables and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. A Thali (Vegan, vegetarian & Meat) available for lunch times and from 18:00 - 18:45 in the even
always like Bhoomi when it was high-end restaurant but really like the more relaxed brasserie style with new menu. As well as a variety of interesting curries there is a small Plates and BBQ section on the menu that enables you to construct your own taps style set of plates. We did - and they were delicious! Also available for lunches ..

A statement of serenity and calm. A refined and sophisticated approach to dining Indian in an intimate and relaxed surrounding.Prithvi, "Earth or Mother Earth, in the ancient Sanskrit", where mouthwatering food and an attention to detail is second to none
Another year, another visit to the Cheltenham literature festival, another outstanding meal at Prithvi. This has to be one of our most favourite restaurants-an Indian restaurant...that does not serve curry!!! This year we ate the 5 course tasting menu, priced at £59. Meat, fish, vegetables...every course a beautifully balanced blend of flavours, textures and spicing. Innovative, creative, a restaurant like no other... forced to choose we would eat here over Benares/Cinnamon Club/ Namaste Spice. Quite how it does not have a Michelin star is beyond me... though perhaps in terms of price and accessibility we should be pleased!

Muse Brasserie although predominantly classic French, reflects the inspiration and influence Chef Director Franck has had on his culinary journey. The menu offers an array of dishes from all over Europe with flavours from both India and the Far East playi
We went as a party of 8. The menu is interesting with a number of twists. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. As it was my daughters graduation they even prepared for her a surprise cake, card and gift. An important touch which we will always remember and to ensure we come back soon!!! Highly recommended!

East India Cafe was established in November 2014. We opened the restaurant with the philosophy of bringing the techniques of mum's cooking into professional setting. We started researching the era of British Raj in Colonial India and brought those recipes
Ate here for the first time after hearing good reviews and we werenât disappointed! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We had the tasting menu which was delicious and included a great variety of different dishes, most of which we hadnât previously eaten. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere too. Definitely not the cheapest meal youâll have, but the price matches the quality! Will be back!
