Indian Restaurant.
I always find it difficult to choose what to eat at this restaurant as they have a large selection of items on the menu. All the dishes are really good and because of that you want to order one of everything. Thatâs why luckily the staff here can be relied upon to choose for you and this time, once again, they chose some great dishes. When you want to try everything itâs great to get a custom platter of a wide selection of grilled items each one cooked really well and full of flavour. The curry dishes also were packed with flavour and just at the right spice level. The naan here is the best naan I have had at any Indian restaurant, soft, light and tasty without any hard burnt bits. I could have eaten 10 of them. Again the selection chosen by the owner was perfect for the curry, garlic and cheese. This was a great meal and the two people I bought here were equally impressed with the taste of the food.

Here at Spice our Head Chef, Zia Ali, has been established for over 35 years and served Chorleywood and now Chalfont St Peter since 1994. We as a team take great pride in providing an irresistible variety of authentic dishes with the freshest ingredients
First time i have ever encountered a restaurant sneak off down to road and back with our food and pass it off as theirs!I ordered in restaurant, but my other half was waiting in car outside and saw it.They were whispering to each other in restaurant si i couldn't hear.Very expensive takeaway and very salty.Icing on the cake was the sleazy waiter who felt me up and down my back!If the food comes from Delhi Spice might as well eat there as takeaway is £10 cheaper for same thing and no sleazy waiter.Dear AustinPow,I am taking your review extremely seriously and have begun a thorough investigation. However to do this, I will need you to come in and give me further information regarding the date and approximate time of your visit. Please also bring a receipt, this will help me immensely. To accuse a staff member of touching you inappropriately is a serious allegation and I am keen to resolve this matter with you sensitively, if you can provide me with more information I can then check with my internal systems. I am sorry you felt that you could not contact me in the first instance. I would have been able to assure you that all food purchased here comes from my kitchen. As a chef myself and having served the local community for the last 25 years, I pride myself on our restaurants home cooked, authentic recipes and I feel deeply hurt that you are suggesting your food came from elsewhere.I want to put this right so please take the time to come and see me to help me investigate further. Look forward to seeing you soon.Sincerely, Zia

Indian restaurant and takeaway
Had a takeaway from here and I have to say it was probably the best curry Iâve had. I live behind the Indian sizzler and new shapla but the spice lounge knocks the socks off them.

Ordered a takeaway for collection. They clearly donât start cooking until you arrive, pay and then start the wait. This is the second time I have waited over an hour from ordering.Food is not even worth the wait. Greedy business that puts the customer second.Lots of other places nearby. Use them.

We hope to take you on a culinary journey of the Indian subcontinent. You are invited to explore the many regional styles of cooking that India has to offer. From Tamil Nadu in the south to Delhi and Punjab in the north, from Goa and Kerala on the western
Went by chance very late on a Saturday night after checking into nearby hotel. Well-received and shown to our table. Incredibly extensive menu with several dishes new to us although many variants on a theme. While we enjoyed our starters we discussed with our waiter a main dish which was relatively mild for my wife. When the main dishes came the choice was actually too spicy for her and without a moment's hestitation the waiter whisked the dish away and brought a similar but much milder version with additional rice.Somehow we got involved with another member of staff on the skills of napkin-folding - he was preparing other tables. My wife received an impromptu lesson on the skill which she thoroughly enjoyed and was even invited back the next day for more "classes". Unfortunately we did not have the time to return.Overall a great evening with good food and an unexpected delightful "class".Top marks to the staff

We had not visited here for quite a while because to be quite honest the quality of the food took a "nose-dive" which was a real shame as it used to be excellent. Our meals were of good size, well presented and very delicious. They were also served at good temperature. Our waiter was friendly and attentive to our needs. At the moment I would recommend this establishment and hope it can maintain a high standard of quality food.

Hawkyns by Atul Kochhar offers guests the opportunity to enjoy delicious Pan Indian cuisine. Diners can expect an array of colourful and delicately flavoured dishes. Madras spiced mackerel with mooli remoulade, fennel and apple; sea bass with bombay aloo
This is an exceptionally good Indian restaurant. We had eaten previously at Atulâs restaurants on cruise ships and in London and were blown away every time - the flavours , textures , innovations etc. This did not disappoint. Everything is just so well done . Iâm not going to single out any particular dish as I really believe itâs faultless. Itâs a 2 hour drive for us from the Midlands but we will return .

We had a great value Travelzoo voucher for 2 courses and a glass of fizz. The setting is idyllic, the young staff are lovely and very efficient and the food is fabulous. As we walked in I saw the Thai menu and assumed it was only available on certain nights, so was very pleased to be given this menu as well as the standard one as it was included in the deal. The curry was very pleasingly hot (maybe too much for some people but perfect for me!). A great place, and I hope to return.

Watfords Saffron is a popular and sophisticated Indian restaurant serving unusual regional dishes alongside classic curries and just a ten minute walk from the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour. The Not so traditional interior, with crisp white tab
My sister ordered takeaway for the family when I visited England. The food was probably the worst Indian food I have ever eaten anywhere.Ordered chicken tikka starter, it had not been cooked on a skewer in a clay oven, just plain grilled chicken in a thin watery gravy.Main course curry's were terrible, no spice at all, very little meat, mainly potatoes that were undercooked.Firstly appologies for any misunderstandings you may of had with this particular order, i hope you had a safe journey back home,At saffron we thrive to serve best quality freshly cooked dishes, we can assure you all our tandoori dishes are cooked in the clay oven and we do use skewer (the hole through the meat is evidence) at Saffron we mostly concentrate on our dine in clients but we do take a lot of attention to our takeaway clients too, the only reason you would have seen any moisture in the chicken tikka would be because it is cooked freshly and put into a container immediately for your takeaway needs, sadly during this times moisture can build up inside the containers because piping hot food was put there, we do appreciate your review and we are very hopeful other readers who read this will find all the information helpful to understand why the do it is not 100% what you expect on hot takeaway orders.
