10 vegetable pakoras for $5.00! Can't beat that price. They were awesome but the dipping sauces were a bit bland. The Cauliflower Manchurian was another hit. Lightly battered, fried to perfection. For our main courses we had the Mango Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Tasty, but our complaint is with the spiciness. We like spicy and were given 3 choices - mild, medium, and hot. We ordered one medium and one hot. We found the hot to be barely medium spicy and the medium to be on the mild side. Since we were the only non-Indians in the restaurant, perhaps they thought the gringos couldn't handle hot. Some reviewers complained about the pricing. I found the main courses to be consistently $2.00 less than what one would pay at Indian restaurants in Raleigh. The apps were cheaper as well. Perhaps these reviewers are comparing to other restaurants in Little India (Morrisville). I don't go to Morrisville often enough to make that comparison. The restaurant is open until 10:00 P.M. nightly. Unheard of in this part of the world. Most places are closed by 9:00 on weekdays.

So many delicious options to choose from! Definitely try the momos (Nepalese dumplings), and one of the curries. For desert, try the gulab jamun which was awesome. The service was very attentive and offered great suggestions.

Casual, contemporary place providing traditional Indian dishes & a variety of housemade cakes.
Cilantro truly has some of the best Indian food! I have traveled globally and had Indian all over....Cilantro is authentic with an outstanding knowledge of spices! I realise everyone has there own style preference, but the great thing is this is very authentic and not "Americanized!"The food quality is consistently outstanding.

My niece was won over by the cauliflower appetizer. She said cauliflower had no flavor. The Nazara cauliflower was packed with flavor and served with a delicious sauce. The pineapple appetizer was not quite my cup of tea but it was well prepared. We ordered three entrees. Two would have been plenty for the 3 of us. The goat curry came with a load of bones just like it does in India, Our service was attentive and helpful in answering questions. My wife and I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch today.

This is a Family running small business and committed to serve authentic Himalayan food from Nepal, Tibet and North Indian. Please give us a chance to take you to Himalayas without being there.
Although we have had Indian food previously, we had never tried Nepali food until today, and it was absolutely fabulous! The owner and the staff were wonderfully attentive, and they were happy to make suggestions and describe every item on the menu for us.Immediately upon being seated, we were served the complimentary papadum and dip along with the lemon, honey, ginger tea. We ordered the Fried Chicken Momo, and the Chicken Thali (Lentil, Rice, Cooked Vegetables, Pickle, Chutney, and Naan). Everything was so good that we also got an order of Chicken Tandoori to go!Even though the front of the menu said that every dish is cooked upon ordering and to please be patient, we were very pleasantly surprised by the speed with which we received our food! Thanks again, we were so very pleased, and we cannot recommend this restaurant more highly! I'm sure we will return!!!
