We have visited the Amala Indian Restaurant on many occasions and I can honestly say that they have never let us down. The food is brilliant, the staff are friendly. Very occasionally the service is a little slow but only when the restaurant is full. Donât let that put you off. Thoroughly recommended.Thank you very much for your lovely and honest feedback, We really appreciate that you have enjoyed our company. Thank you for visiting us. Team Amala.
Best Indian take away by far, only ever had one delivery that missed part of our order and one complete miss-order which was the delivery drivers error......apart from that food cooked perfect every time and good quality.....only downside is online doesnât except card or Paypal any longer, only cash on delivery unless collecting.Used to get a 10% discount for cash but no more and the orderinn site is glitchy.

This is our local and in the past it has been really good. my wife and me and gone vegetarian and therefore we ordered the vegetable curries.Unfortunately the vegetable based citrus we ordered were terrible. The vegetables were basic and unimaginative and the flavour was pure spice. There were carrots, peas, broad beans, sweet corn, one potato and runner beans. No cauliflower or anything interesting. My wife couldnât even eat hers and I ate mine because I didnât want to waste it. We are both very disappointed but we wonât bother again. It seems that the veggie options are really thought out even though itâs should be the easiest on the menu. Try it but not the veggie curries.

The venue isnât to bad but hasnât got that great an atmosphere. The starter was a prawn dish with a spicy but interesting sauce and bread. Lots of prawns delivered.Main course was a seafood dish called mismas which was quite good too. The naan bread was slightly thin for Naan but still nice.Toilet clean staff pleasant if a tad distracted when I wanted my bill.

Tried for the first time after reading good reviews.Left feeling hungry still. There does not seem to be anything not too hot & spicy on the menu After explaining did not want too spicy, was assured whatever I chose could be changed,. unfortunately that did not happen .I had to request that separately, it was taken away, but only half the amount came back just sweetened almost to Korma style.it contained one tiny piece of potato. ( bearing in mind it was suppose to be the lamb and potato curry.) The pilau rice was also disappointing..It was a pity that I was not asked if everything was o.k.Needless to say a disappointing experience..
