The Green Dragon brews its own ales - they are excellent value and good quality. The pub hasn't entered into the 21st century yet. It isn't spit and sawdust, iy isn't polished brass - its a genuine friendly pub which I am happy to visit and enjoy their ales. Every Wednesday there is a curry night. Once again there isn't a huge selection of food but what they do is excellent value and good quality.

Needed a curry and the Spice of Balti was open so returned after a gap of 10 years since my last visit. I doubt whether it has changed much in the intervening years, it was a tad untidy but there was a good aroma coming from the kitchen so prepared to give it a go.The food was actually quite good and I would have rated this higher if the decor had been better or if the restaurant was warmer. A good take away venue rather than dining I guess. Service was polite and prompt.

A must for anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food at its best. Not Surprisingly the Masala Gardens is a highly rated restaurant and deservedly so. We was told our order would be with us within 50 minutes, after numerous phone calls it finally arrived 2 hours later, with some of our order missing. The food was good, and they sent our missing order about half hour after we had finished our meal, would only return if we was collecting ourselves and able to check the whole order is in the bag.
