I have eaten in hundreds of Indian restaurants from the top echelon e.g. Benares and Tamarind in London and Lasan in Birmingham. This is competent food but itâs prices are out if step with its offering. It is not in the class of the ones mentioned above but is charging their prices. For four we paid nearly £150 and I reckon the food was worth maximum £110-120. It is a shame because it would deter me from returning. For suburban London it is expensive and it is not Michelin quality. We did not have a bottle of wine(2 glasses and beers).
Saturday night takeaway. Arrived very quickly and ahead of what they had quoted and the delivery man was smiley and polite and there were no spillage In the bag whoop! It was piping hot, and fresh.I ordered chicken tikka balti and the boyff had lamb Biryani with a side of Bombay aloo. I'd asked for extra coriander which I got.The pilau rice was cooked perfectly and wasn't stuck together. The chicken pieces were proper sizes of tikka chunks and not the little tikka flavoured ones you can get. The vegetable curry with the biryani was good and had loads of different veggies in it.Poppadoms were fresh and crunchy. All in all a very pleasant takeaway and we will definitely order from there again.

From the very well known restaurant Potters Bar Tandoori opened back in 1991, now brings back the former owners to open the new Indian restaurant Tamarind Fusion. Nostalgia at its finest. Combining special flavours from different parts of South Asia inclu
We arrived on the off chance at this restaurant on a Friday evening; having read the reviews on Tripadvisor, and we are so glad that we came. What a SUPER restaurant this is!!We were warmly welcomed, even though we had not booked, and shown to a lovely table by a radiator as the Owner spotted that one of our party was cold - that is a service you don't see very often. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The portions were large without you feeling overfull. Each of us had a different dish, and each dish was just as gorgeous. We had a super time; and we were not rushed in any way. When the bill arrived, it was more than reasonably priced for such delicious food - which was also a lovely surprise. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and warmly minimalist - a paradox in itself!. Having spoken to the Owner, he told us that the restaurant has only been open for about 5 months and they are planning a whole range of culinary activities. We decided then and there, that we want to book the New Year celebrations. This is a wonderful restaurant and will be our go-to place whenever we visit Potters Bar. Just loved it!!Thank you Copperskid for a lovely review. It made everybody's day here at Tamarind. This is what we work so hard to achieve. It is really nice to hear that you felt our efforts. We always go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied in every way and if something is not right then we make an effort to put it right. We'll inform you of our new years eve party in due course. Many Thanks and hope to see you again soon.

Welcome to social Dhaba in Stanmore, London. Award-winning fine Indian cuisine exquisitely spiced and freshly prepared.
We enjoyed the social dhaba food! The ambience is simple clean and conducive to a fun eve with friends. Food was excellent really authentic I had the black dal and paneer bhindi and bharta. The garlic naan was exquisite and I caught myself eating it on its own! It does get very noisy after 830 pm!!

All day casual dining restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, craft beers and house matured cocktails and dinner.
We thought we would try this new restaurant after reading some good reviews as we are very partial to Indian cuisine. What a very agreeable surprise we had. We started with the basket of mini Papadums and crispy Namak Pare which were very crispy and tasty. Our starter course was Bhinki Jaipuri and Baigan Tikki both of which we had never had before and we loved them. Our main courses were Salmon Tikka and chicken Hyderabadi Biryani. Again very different and delicious. We will definitely be returning very soon to try some different dishes.

Consistently very good food from this place.Tonight I ordered Chicken Tikka Balti and the chicken was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth stuff! The ingredients were all clearly very fresh. My husband went for village curry and said it was great, it has a mix of lamb and chicken and great flavours. The sides or special rice, naan bread, onion bhajis and Bombay aloo were all spot on too. This is definitely the best in the Shenley/Radlett/Borehamwood area.Deliveries are never late and often early, polite drivers.

Memsaab Indian Cuisine
Under new management, and now called Rubyâs Murray, the Indian restaurant at this local pub does outstanding takeaway.Packed full of spice, and not overboard on the chilli heat, there are layers and layers of delicious flavour. We ordered a couple of the specials. All the meat was beautifully tender and the food wasnât too greasy, as many indian takeaways can be.Highly recommended, the service was great and the delivery was speedy. Thanks for a lovely fatherâs day meal!
