Reviews on Indian food in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. The area is best known as the home of Keoladeo National Park, an outstanding bird refuge that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the winter it's a stopover point for migrating birds and hundreds of species have been spotted. The best way to see the park is via bicycle rickshaw. Be sure to take binoculars and a good camera! You can get to Bharatpur from Delhi by train, bus or private car.

We had breakfast and dinner on both days of our stay at Hotel Shiv Vilas Palace and the food was truly delicious and tasty. (finger licking good as we would say in India - even KFC says that in India, by the way). We tried the Punjabi or Mughlai cuisine and the Chicken, panneer, parathas, daal, that we had were fantastic.

The Ravia Poolside and Rooftop Restaurant at Swaraj Resorts is a multi-cuisine restaurant that is headed by our specialist Indian Chef and Canadian Chef-owner. From delicious Butter Chicken to authentic pasta Arabbiata, ours Chefs can cater to your every
Swaraj resorts' restaurant is rated #1, but it is practically not a restaurant in the real sense of the term. All the guests are hotel guests who anyways dine in the gardens. The lunch we had there was a bit overpriced (~200/head) and lacked taste (zero masala or flavor). The presentation and plating on the table was unexpectedly awesome though. the service was impeccable. The breakfast was killer in terms of cost. Crossed 250/head in a group of ten adults (and babies who only drank milk). Inexcusable in my mind. Again, this should get a 2/5 had it not been for the great service led by Sanjeev Singh and his team. If you don't want spicy food and want to dine in a garden/poolside, it is an excellent option given that bharatpur has very limited options.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Agra to Ranthambore. They provided us with a buffet; we had a nice selection. We spent $10 US for our lunch. The place appears to be located in the middle of no-where.

Celebration's restaurant is known for it's delicious Indian and Chinese cuisine. With an state of art ambiance we take pride in offering best possible service quality and service in the city. We would like to serve you!!!
We went for a family lunch and found it to be fine. Yes, the manchow soup was nothing really like one and tasted more like masala maggi. Jeera rice was also too oily. But overall not much complaint - Kashmiri aloo dum was actually quite good and mixed vegetable was also fine.Though the staff was forgetful. 15 minutes after placing the order, the person who took the order came back saying we didn't place the order for breads but we had clearly placed the order. After the order came, we realized that he had also forgotten rice and was asking us whether we need rice. Finally he didn't even bother to ask us if we need dessert or not. But, overall in a small town like Bharatpur where you do not have a lot of options, this is still an OK option.

The restaurant in the resort is decent place to have food, tried all three Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner, the choice is limited , the food is decent , the gentleman attending to guests are very cooperative and helpful. The setting of the restaurant in midst of the resort with greenery around gives a nice cool location.
Food was ok but poor management and average service. We had to wait for followup order and when it came we had to send back for replacement. Nothing that you would miss.
