Ordered from their website at 17.50 and got confirmation email saying it would be delivered at 18.30. Phoned at 19.00 and was told it was out for delivery. At 19.25 I called again and was told it was still out for delivery. Cold food arrived at 17.30 and driver said we were the 6th delivery since he left shop. Ridiculous service. We will not be back.

Had a chicken tikka massala and a veggie kurma. Both appeared to be made with the same sauce - at least it tasted really similar. The massala sauce was really sweet rather than spicy. The vegetable curry only had carrots and peas in it - frozen vegetables with cubed carrots. Surely you could put a few more interested vegetables into a veg curry?

not long open as an indian & chinese buffet....£7 - £12 (depending what time it is)
We went on a Sunday night. The food was stale and old and could barely get my teeth through half the dishes. The rice was like little pieces of stones. The meats had obviously been out for hours. Very poor standard of food. Maybe if we went on a Friday or Saturday night it would be different but no matter what food should have been edible. There was also a hair in our prawn crackers. Nice enough restaurant inside but won't be back in a hurry.

My other half wanted fast food and he suggested an alternative to his usual haunt in Montrose. He ordered a chicken kebab and a donner one as he is a hungry man. The box was heaped full on both dishes! The quietest he has been in a long time, He gives the saffron 10/10 Quick efficient service, tasty and a definite return according to hubby

It's hard to get overly enthusiastic about a buffet restaurant but I've been here half a dozen times now and never had anything other than an excellent experience. I've tended to stick to the starters and Indian food and the selection of dishes has always had something new each time. Unusually for a buffet, there's usually a dish on the very-hot scale which is great if you like hot dishes. Additionally, all the meat dishes have chunky pieces of meat in the curry rather than having to play the hunt-the-meat game that you get in some other restaurantsAnyhow, if you don't like buffet restaurants then this one isn't likely to convert you to the cause but I've been in lots of them over the years and never had any inclination to review one of them in a positive way since I expect them all to be a bit meh. This is an excellent one.

Visited Tuesday night and were alone but plenty of atmosphere with the lovely manager who was happy to chat. Great food sizzling in the kitchen with freshly rolled nan breads and one of my favourite korma's. The only criticism being picky was the small and supposedly lesser amount of rice sitting in than if taking away. More locals need to visit this gem!
