This is one of the best Indian restaurants that we have tried. The menu is extensive and interesting with dishes weâve not seen before. The food was absolutely beautiful, one warning though - when it says âvery hotâ it really does mean it!The service is always friendly and helpful although on Wednesday banquet night it can take longer than usual but itâs still worth it! One of our favourite places to eat or have takeaway from.

Diya Royal is the first combined finest Indian and Gurkha restaurant in Bedford. Foods are derived from traditional Indian and Nepalese cuisine where the dishes are cooked in the authentic style of India and Nepal. Our food philosophy is driven by desire
OK. That's a bold claim because I haven't been to all the Indian restaurants in the world. BUT the food here is amazing. It's always fresh and delicious and the service is brilliant. The staff are friendly and willing to offer advice about dishes. Can't wait for my next visit!Thank you very much Rose, thank you very much for rating us so high. It's really good to hear nice feedback from customers after we give our 100%. We will work hard and hard not to disappoint customers like in the future every single time you visit.Thank you once again.

Indian Lodge is situated in the High Street, Flitwick and affords diners an elegant, comfortable, modern and relaxing setting. Don't worry about parking as we have a very large, free, car park of our own. The restaurant was originally the old Wheatsheaf P
Food is consistantly good, curries are tasty with good quality meat, naan bread is always fresh, light and airy. Rice and popadoms are very good (and we sometimes get complementary popadoms). Would also recommend side dish called Niramish which is mixed vegetables. We usually collect takeaways, parking is very easy as there is always space in the car park. Delivery was late on one occasion but staff apologised and gave us discount. Service is always very good and all staff are friendly. Having tried alot of takeaways in the area (including all the Indian restaurants in Flitwick) this is the best and has become a regular for us. Also at time of writing, this is the only Indian restaurant with perfect food hygiene rating. Definitely recommended

Good service , good portion size . Food could be a bit more spicy and less food colourant . Overall a good meal .

Well, we ordered reasonably early in the evening with a provisional arrival time of an hour and 5 minutes. Fine. Two hours later, no sign, so rang. 15 minutes, I'm promised. But, no, much, much later than even that (we're talking well over 2 and a half hours for an online delivery) and even then quite average (though not awful) food. Should have known better after two so. so experiences in the last month. Have to say that, historically, this was a really good option for delivered takeaway but sadly no longer. And never again. Simply put, if you want decent food (most important) delivered even remotely within timescales (important) then simply don't bother with BL. It's gone completely downhill.

Award winning fine Indian cousin, eastern region Restaurant of the year 2014, Bedfordshire good cury guide Excellent Award 2016. Best Chef of the year (Eastern region) 2014,Best in Britain top 100 restaurant 2006.
Love going to this restaurant and have takeaways. Always good quality and friendly attentive staff who were efficient and knew how to look after guests. Went for a meal with my son, disappointed. Draft âDoombarâ beer was off and undrinkable, got it changed. New waiters seemed chaotic and were lost. The stood around needing instructions all the time, there was no intuition in their work. Food eventually arrived, they werenât busy?. It was ok. Seemed the kitchen was focussed on takeaways. Manager who is normally definitely in charge seemed distant. All together disappointed meal and very average service. So much so decided to go elsewhere to try new places.

This is a big improvement on when it was The Alameda. Interesting and varied menu, food is delicious. And the decor is lovely. Most of the staff are good too, apart from one very grumpy chap. We've been three times now and always enjoyed it.
