A six star restaurant if ever there was one. Yukti restaurant in Prescot Road Liverpool is simply beautiful from the moment you pass from the front courtyard, through the inner vestibule to be greeted warmly by immaculate front of house staff. This was our first visit with my wife and son following recommendations posted on this website. What the majority of people say is absolutely true; it is truly amazing; from the spaciousness of the tastefully adorned dining room, the comfy seating especially in the bar area, and of course, the charming staff explaining how everything âworkedâBut what about the food? Just perfection in all aspects. The simple poppadom, crisp, dry and plate sized with accompanying home made chutneys, especially the tomato and mustard dip; the mini tasting menu starters beautifully filling in their own right; to be followed by the dining experience mains - presented on individual silver salvas with the vegetable accompaniments already placed around the side, the rice bowl emptied by the waiter and the main dish bowl left to be shared if desired. All in all, a wonderful experience to be certainly savoured again (and again), if only to try the curried lobster - now who would have thought of that!

Ridiculous! I like my curries fresh and not in some sauce from a jar. The meat was like rubber couldnât chew it at all! Never again

I came here with my wife for the first time.We went in through the door but no staff to be seen until a short while later, he was pleasant enough but not good proberly because he was on his own and was feeling a bit stressed. We were shown to a table, we noticed the the small white plates seemed glued to the table as it took effort to move them. I guess the tables donât get a very good cleaning! My wife had the Chicken Tika Dansak £9.90 she says it was ok.I had the Lamb Balti £8.90. We also had a plate of Pilau rice £5.40. My Balti was a bit greasy and the lamb was a bit dry and over cooked a bit tough. The toilet is for both sexâs. The toilet is in need of a very good cleaning as there was a dirty puddle of water coming away from behind the toilet. A small sink was hanging off the wall only seemed to be hanging on the pipes very loosely, the other sink was to small for a bottle of soap to sit by the taps. The hand drier was a very feeble one hence not drying very well. One light bulb was not working over the counter.

This restaurant has a good selection of tasty food. The staff are great and very helpful and they made our large party very welcome. We all received our food at the same time and everyone committed on how tasty the food was. The service was very good and I will definitely be going back there.

Visited for a last minute family meal. Service from the start was very dismissive and rude. Everything seemed to difficult. Only had one menu between three, when asked for two more got a funny look. Took 2 hrs for starters and mains. Extremely slow service between starters and main. Curry labelled as medium was bland and extremely mild. Coke was flat with no fizz. Fried rice was bathed in oil but lacked the "fried" part.No check in or ask for any drinks once. Wife even had to get her own cutlery.

Also traditional Nepalese food
Delicious vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Many of the dishes can be ordered in side dish or main size, so we were able to order a good selection. The food was really delicious, freshly made and obviously cooked with care. Good value for money and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Allergy information is available if you need it.
