We arrived for dinner on my wife's birthday in the middle of a tremendous thunderstorm, so no surprise on a school night that there was only one other table occupied. It was definitely the weather, because the food, beverage, service, decor were all terrific. My wife had the gold selection and I had the platinum.. This included various different types of sushi and two very elegant and delicious deserts. My selection included a delicious soup, which was a mel in itself, my wife chose miso soup which she mentioned was amongst the best she had ever had.My wife is the family expert on sushi and she absolutely raved about the freshness of the food and the taste. As I was driving, I had the Aloe juice, which was presented in a tall wine glass with blueberries and blackberries....very delicious. The service was excellent, efficient, polite, cheerful and helpful.^The restaurant is in a basement location located in the main square. There is street parking nearby and if you are lucky, almost in front of the entrance.
It's in a lovely location, just off the main square. In a basement that backs up to Sumo Sushi, which is very good.To be honest, once I saw the menu I wanted to leave. I was expecting something different....I think it would be ideal for young health conscious family for lunch. But for a date with my wife it was a poor choice. The menu features 10 fairly commonplace salads, three cream soups. 3 pastas, Carbonara, Shrimp, and one other.4 chicken dishes ( we had 2 and the chicken was lukewarm, dry and the sauces greasy and overpowering). The service was polite and warm but very inattentive. All in all not a place to go for a dining experience. But good prices and good for kids.
