I visited several times few places of the chain. Food is more or less OK, but it's too noisy, and service is above the average. They miss part of the order....If you pretend to have lunch or dinner in good restaurant with atmosphere this is not your place....

First off, I'm not vegan, but I am vegan-friendly. If the food is good, I'm down with vegan, vegetarian, what have you. I got three different items for takeaway - spinach quiche, lentil cracker, skaliti - and everything was great. The spinach quiche was particularly delectable. The skaliti was an interesting dessert and would appeal to those trying to reduce sugar intake. I plan to return before I leave the area and try some other items. The staff seemed super friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit if you'd like to try something different, healthy and fresh while in Sofia.

This restaurant has gone its ups and downs, our lunch today was at the peak of Indian taste, diversity of meals and quality. The menu is updated with several new meals. We opted for Malai Chicken Tikka masala - gorgeous and properlyspiced. Nans, matar paneer pulao and firni were very tasty. Obviously some arrangements with ventilation were done, as stink is pretty much reduced. The waitress was very sweet and kind. Foresee that Taj Mahal will return back in top 10 Sofia restaurants.

I went to this place yesterday to have lunch with a friend. I have severe gluten intolerance with pretty bad symptoms. The dish I went for was some sort of a vegan biftek. On the menu I could see this dish does not contain any GLUTEN. I have had some pretty bad experiences with gluten in other Bulgarian restaurants and decided to ask the waitress once again whether the dish or the sauce accompanying it contains any. She very firmly assured me it is gluten-free. After having it 30 minutes later I was hit with very bad reaction(typical for me after I have gluten, this lasts for couple of days after I have been exposed to it). So I wonder what if a person has a life-threatening gluten allergy where just a bite could cause anaphylaxis? I just donât understand why these restaurants and the people managing them do not realise how detrimental gluten consumption is for some people??? Iâm never going back there again. So if you have a similar problem please be aware that what they claim on their menu in regards to allergens is not really true...

Fresh and tasty food.
We have been to Soul Kitchen and were not aware of the fact that it is a vegan Restaurant. But we loved the food and they had a lot of choices for our son who has a gluten allergy. We recommend it!
