This restaurant is an absolute must if you are in Bamberg! A lovely menu with plenty to choose from. Great ambience, service was very efficient and friendly. And clean fresh facilities.I had:"Fischteller HoffmannsVerschiedene Fischfilets, Garnele, Ratatouille, Kartoffeln variety fish filets, prawn, mediterranean vegetable, potatoes"Definitely recommend this dish and my family had steaks and they were super tasty too!(I tried)I also had a local smoked beer, which was really different, kind of smokey Guinness.Thank you to all at Hoffmanns Steak and Fisch, should we ever come back to Bamberg you will most definitely be on the list!!

We visited here tonight to try something a bit different after some heavy "typical" German food. The food really was excellent and a refreshing change after all the meat dishes available in the centre. The service was also very good. Recommended if you are in the area.

The service was excellent but friendly. The place was classy but we felt comfortable. The food was excellent - modern twist on traditional Franconian fare. The prices are reasonable for a restaurant of this quality.
