I decided to eat at this restaurant due to the great reviews - I wasn't disappointed. It took me 2 attempts to find the restaurant since it had moved streets 9 months earlier and I had been following an outdated map app. That said on my second attempt I had had a tiring and frustrating day and definitely needed perking up with a better dinner than I'd had the previous 2 nights. I was beginning to think Chiang Mai couldn't do good restaurants. Well I found my answer: my 3 courses (Mushroom Bruschetta, Beef Lasagna, and Tiramisu) were all delicious, accompanied by a beer and then an Amaretto on ice in a peaceful relaxing outside seating area with great ambiance - it was just perfect. The owner/general manager Luciano came over to introduce himself and chat once I had finished, and was generous enough to offer me a nightcap on the house; he was most welcoming and I very much enjoyed our conversation. Do make sure you pop along to eat here if you are in Chiang Mai - you won't be disappointed.

Our lunch at this Chiangmai restaurant was a very pleasant experience. The roti with massaman curry and Railway Fried Rice were amazingly tasty. Lovely coffee. Seating was very comfortable and the service, prompt. The mood music was very soothing and relaxing. Definitely worth numerous visits. By the way, they have very clean toilets, too.

We found Cooking Love by mistake just walking around Chiang Mai during the day. We had lunch and it was so delicious we went back another two times during our trip. We ate so much food, and it was all so good. The Tom Yum and Tom Kai Gai were the best! The waitress is lovely and friendly and the chef came out to the table a few times to see how the food was. Cooking love just has a great vibe, definitely recommend. We've been coming to Thailand for 7 years, and Chiang Mai for 4 years. It takes a lot to impress us.The staff at Alice's are welcoming and provide lots of Thai hospitality. The night we were there was very busy and the staff worked hard to keep everyone happy.We ordered Thai fish cakes, red curry, stir fried broccoli and black rice. I was disappointed with the red curry, it lacked flavour until we added some fish sauce.It was very busy the night we were there, one large group of very noisy people, and another group of people who wanted a table and kept coming in and walking around watching us eat to see if we had finished yet. The staff handled these pushy people really well, acommadating them in the bar area outside.The average rating is about the food. The staff deserve a gold star for the way they handled a noisy, busy restaurant.Clearly a popular place to eat. If you didnât like your food you should have notified the Gold Star staff it would have been replaced to your liking or given free. Not much we can do when the first we hear about a problem is in a review. Thanks for coming:-)

I went looking and found this little place not far from my home, Walked in and was surprised to see 2 friends dining there too, I joined them for lunch. They both had hamburgers, with fries and salad, and vere very happy with the quality and price, I started with 8 large New Zealand mussels, with grilled cheese, piping hot, to the table and only 125 baht (less that $4.00, US) I then had a tender chicken breast with a Caesar salad, 125 baht. Went back a second time with different friends, had the Hamburger fries and salad, my friend had pork ribs and salad, and a Tuna salad, all was very good.The place is quite small, however bright and welcoming, the owner Tanya, a lovely Thai lady, looked after us, with a very pleasant manner, and a great Thai smile.I will make this little Cafe, one of my lunch spots for sure, nice decor, plenty of parking opposite.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars.The menu is limited, which often indicates what a restaurant knows what it aims to excel in. The baba ganoush+pita+hummus+falafel+ tahini platter was wonderful. Special mention for the green chilli dip. The owner is polite and friendly, as other reviewers say.Dont expect a fine-dining experience, and you may be pleasantly surprised.thank you for your great review, we are trying hard to make the food fresh and tasty. hope to see you again.
