Staff seems to be overwhelmed! orders are not carried out precisely (brought me the wrong wine 3 times, forgot the water) Food is average - prices are high. they do not seem to be prepared for serious business - hopefully only beginners struggles

Das Pavillon liegt halt toll am Hafen bzw. Bodensee. Alles andere isr eher touristisch. Das Essen ist ok, dass aber sowohl vom Personal als auch Gästen im Vorbereich der Bezahlung und Getränkeausgabe geraucht wird, verleidet einem vieles....

We were visiting family in Switzerland and decided last minute go have a diner after shopping. We entered the restaurant and a friendly waitress told us no problem for table for 4. She went back to get menus, when she shortly talked to a male waiter. He looked us up and down, shaked a head at a waitress... she turned around and walk back apologizing they are âfullâ and recommended some sub-par restaurant for us.My mother in law (80) was truly offended, so were we. We did not look like bums, just regular jeans and jackets. I guess we were not good enough for them... I was never treated so rudely by restaurant in my life and was in much more upscale restaurants...Dear diverMissWe do remember your visit very well and we still are sorry that we could not welcome you in our restaurant that evening. Unfortunately we were fully booked that evening. We had some empty tables in the main restaurant but we also had some large banquets in the upper floors of the restaurant and as we always want to give our best for our costumers we decided not to take more costumers that evening. There was a sign at the entrance door of the restaurant saying: We are sorry, we are fully booked. Obviously you did not see this sign, so we had to tell you again upstairs that we are not able to serve you and we were sorry about it! Wir waren auf dem Steinigen Tisch essen. Es hackt zwar noch ein bisschen, aber das Essen war sehr gut. Mein Sommersalat hatte eine sehr gute Salatsauce, aber ein bisschen zu wenig. Dafür war das Rindstartar sehr gut. Sowie auch das Kalbsbäckli mit Rotweinsauce waren sehr gut. Vor allem die Rotweinsauce. Auch die anderen am Tisch waren zufrieden mit dem Essen. Die Desserts waren auch gut. Ich hatte die Beerensuppe. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich.
