Reviews on Healthy food in Porto, Northern Portugal, Portugal. The town that gave the country (and port wine) its very name, Porto is Portugal’s second-largest metropolis after Lisbon. Sometimes called Oporto, it's an age-old city that has one foot firmly in the industrial present. The old town, centered at Ribeira, was built on the hills overlooking the Douro River, and today is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 14th-century São Francisco church is a main attraction, as are the local port wine cellars, mostly located across the river at Vila Nova de Gaia.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. A well decorated restaurant which is located off the beaten tourist track but worth seeking out. The menu offered some lovely fruit & yogurt dishes, pancakes and a selection of eggs .....and their toast was lovely. If you come later in the day then they offered a wide selection of cakes which tasted very good. The service from the all the team was friendly and very good.

At Bird of Passage we serve a diverse choice of food. To start off your day, alternating Healthy Fruit Bowls. For the sweet tooth, home made cakes, the authentic Pastel de Nata, Alfajor de Maicena, Sourdough Toast with jam or Dulce de Leche, etc. For the
Upon overhearing a barista telling a colleague that the batch he had brewed "lacked complexity" there were two potential outcomes: (1) The person was obnoxious and the coffee would not live up to the great expectations; or (2) The coffee would be excellent. Thankfully, it was the latter. As a coffee shop (first and foremost) that sells breakfast and lunch bites, it is great. The coffee is of a high standard and they roast their beans on premises, which is a testament to how seriously they take the art form. The food menu is an eclectic mix of sweet and savory, offering everything from granola to empanadas (something for everyone and everything was good). The only complaint I had is that the coffee cups for cold brew take away were too small -- the coffee was excellent, but I could have consumed at least three of them.Thank you very much for the review and the kind words. In the meantime we have upgraded our take away size cups so thank you for the feedback! See you soon.

,,As 7 Maravilhas" (,,The 7 Wonders") is an eatery that opened its doors in December 2013 in the heart of the "Invicta". In this location, the history starts as an eatery in 1937. To give that history a continuation with a unique concept in Porto, was our
Missing some hearty beers? Go here. What a selection! The food menu is very different. I had quesadilla and it was delicious! He had a sandwich that was really something. Some interesting choices. We shared a port and desert and I could have come back and tried other items. Quirky. And great. Make a reservation.

The food is healthy, the meals are well presented and the amounts are generous. I absolutely recommend you this place if you are looking for some healthy and elaborated options. Many vegetarian possibilities. Coffee is fantastic and have soy milk. I had a bowl with guacamole, sweet potato and tomato and a cappuccino. There were so many options (even gluten free) and all of them seemed fantastic!

Restaurante espetacular!

We are in Porto but our soul travels the world. The way we see it, a restaurant is a welcoming house full of nice and pleased people, tables glittering with a bouquet of enchants. Therefore we seek every day for local fresh products, which we cook guided
I reserved a place because it is a small place and highly recommended. It was a wise thing to do when I saw the queue outside...beautiful authentic Portuguese restaurant adjacent to the famous train station by the same name, Sao Bento. Amazing atmosphere with tasty food, especially sea fruits but also meat and fish. We enjoyed every minute from the 90 min we had... It is a great pleasure to read your review and to know you had experienced nice food :)Thank you very much for your visit :)Hopefully we see you again soon :)Wish you a great day

A small, cozy, unpretentious and inclusive space, where everyone has an equally interesting and tasty option to taste. A house full of affection in every detail, created by a couple in love with good food and that goes on an eternal search for new combina
We sat at the bar and were so interested to watch the chef preparing the various tapas. The tapas were delicious and the presentation excellent. Have eaten all over the world and the tapas we had tonight were up with the best. We started with the Camembert with honey, garlic and parsley that had been lightly torched served in a metal bowl surrounded by lightly toasted homemade bread. Our second tapas was tuna tartare and we loved it. My husband has always been a little resistant regarding tartars but I had to fight him for every bite. A different presentation than I am used to with the tuna cut in 1/2 inch squares. It was delicious. Would have loved to sample so many more but had to stop as we were full. Such a lovely team we do wish them well. Hello, thank you for coming to our house and reviewing us. We are very happy that you enjoyed your experience with us. We hope to host you again in the future. Thank you for so many great compliments, it's truly a great recognition of our work.
