I've eaten at La Locanda di Camugliano twice in the last month and both times the food and service have been excellent.I highly recommend the Spaghetti allo Scoglio, Spaghetti with fresh seafood was delicious !!The locanda has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, great for romantic dinners and parties.

Once we had managed to park in San Miniato - no mean feat - Pepenero was easy to find and was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime in November, with stylish Italian business people enjoying the very creative menu (but probably not the wine list, as we seemed to be the only ones with a bottle of wine on the table!). Creative is definitely the key word here and a couple of the dishes didn't quite work, which is why I have to give it a "very good" rather than "excellent" rating. A very sleek interior, wonderful views of the countryside, sophisticated ambience and service and definitely "fine dining" - quite surprising to find that in San Miniato. This is a destination restaurant, serious and interesting, very well worth visiting.

We saw very satisfied looking customers emerging after lunch and so we visited for a spectacular dinner. Vegan/vegetarian only menu which is thoughtful, resourceful and absolutely delicious. Fixed or a la carte menus, good wine. The dedication of the staff is obvious and evident in the quality of the food and service. Excellent value, thank you Maggese
