The island's colonization by the Netherlands shows in Oranjestad's Dutch colonial architecture, while the buildings' bright colors are distinctly Caribbean.

We came here for lunch and ordered:- Sushi Bowl (5/5): The watermelon tuna is basically cubes of fresh watermelon marinated in a soy-like sauce and it's so fingerlicking good! This bowl felt like you were eating an amazingly fresh sushi roll in bowl form and we loved it.- Make your own bowl (5/5): I made my own bowl and the star ingredients had to be the spicy tempeh and the peanut sauce - YUM! It tasted like I was eating a delicious Thai dish and the chunks of mango were nice and fresh too.We loved our meals so much we came back here for breakfast and ordered:- Sweet Nachos with choc chip cookie dough dip (5/5): That dip is VERY addictive and went so well with the nacho chips. There were bits of choc chip scattered in the dough and they were little bite sized surprises. Yum.- Flamingo Pancakes (5/5): You get three pancakes and they're fluffy and pink! There's a bit of a fruit salad on the side and a dark chocolate dip. It was yum but the nachos was the definite winner here.My only comment about this place is that their brown rice is a bit on the thin and dry side. The toppings and sauce override that so we didn't really care but as someone who makes brown rice daily, it wasn't the fluffy textured brown rice I'm used to at home.

First time here for a local, on the strip, casual eatery.Right to the point, the pan seared snapper was very fishy, and not to point. Very bland, and no taste. Shrimps were very well done and also no taste. The filet Mignon was at at room temp at best for a medium rare. The only good thing was the wine and the Dutch Pea soup, the lobster tail, and the Caprese salad with the Prosciutto ham. It wasnât busy for a Sunday night. We didnât want to complain... we just ate and left!!!Enjoy Aruba!!!Thank you for your feedback. We donât recognize ourselves in your review but we have taken your comments veryseriously. We are a friendly Mexican food place that serves delicious homemade food!
To find this place count the airport roundabout as 1 and then the next one is where you make the 9 oclock turn and then first right. Lots of local friendly people eating outside. Met a fabulous polite young man who was trying his English on me and even gave me one of his card collections with his name on it. Food was good for truck food. Cost for 2 only 15

Having just landed in Aruba, we decided to avoid the long taxi line by looking for a bite to eat. We found the airport 14-Bis Marketplace Restaurant, right across from the taxi stand. The restaurant was clean, spacious and obviously popular with the locals. The multiple buffet choices were mouth watering, and equally delicious. Hostess/ Waitress Marila was wonderful. We will make 14-Bis Market Restaurant in Aruba, our first stop from now on. Enjoy!
