The terrific reviews that this place gets are 100% justified. A small restaurant but with an additional terrace so booking is essential. Both the food and service are outstanding. A brilliant night out down to Maria's cooking and super friendly service from the two Antonio's. Advice on food and drink is spot on and you instantly feel welcomed and relaxed. They serve a superb cheesecake as a free dessert along with tuition ice cream that finished off your meal in style. We had pil pil cod and pork cheeks as mains and they were excellent. Don't miss this place if you want a special meal in Ronda!

I understand why this place is number 1 in Ronda: the service is impeccable, very quick and courteous, and charisma of José Antonio makes this restaurant really worth visiting although it's a rather long walk from the historical center of Ronda. But in spite of this I don't think that I would become a regular customer here. There are several issues that I didn't like: the place is to small, there is too little space between tables, the chairs are too hard, without any upholstery. Maybe it's part of the design and general concept as this place is positioned as a 'tavern'. But I prefer something more comfortable. As for the food - unfortunately main part of the menu was not to our taste. I don't like sushi and seviche (as long as carpaccio - nothing raw, please) and hamburgers. Besides both me and my mother are allergic to red tuna. So we've taken ox-tail starter and lamb as a main dish. Both were fine, but the lamb was a little too dry to my taste. We always take tea after meal and I was very disappointed to see a plain Lipton served in a place known for its cuisine. Other disappointment was when it occurred that several desserts mentioned in the menu were not available, including the one with pears that I wanted to try. For a Saturday night and a place where you need to make a reservation in advance to get a table it's a huge minus. How can there be lack of desserts if you know that the place is fully booked? Yes, the chestnuts puree was quite nice but little disappointment was still there.Hello, good day, thanks for your words to our food and service. To say that I don't understand your words about sushi or ceviche, we don't have those dishes here. Decoration is something that some people like more and others less. Next year we will launch a great restaurant in the center and well, it will be bigger and more comfortable now that we are in this one that we are over 30 years old and we do not force anyone to stay. More than 2500 people rate us as excellent in more than 5 gastronomic guides for something that will be. As for tea and dessert, tell him that tea is a normal tea of ââgood quality and that we no longer have a great demand for tea, we are not asked for more, and dessert will explain it to him but I see he did not understand, we have 4 desserts, only 1 that is summer season was missing, and summer is over.How can we have it in autumn if it is seasonal? Followed the TripAdvisor lead to this place for tapas.Finished up ordering their specials as well and had an outstanding dining experience.Fabulous food and very welcoming host who helped us choose our wines and food.There is nothing to disappoint here.I wish I had pictures of the dishes but we couldnt resist getting stuck into them.In summary - Great wine, outstanding food and a superb host.You must give it a try

Very impressed with this new small bar somewhat off the main streets and plazas of Grazalema, weâll worth hunting out. Most options are tapas, or smaller plates (rations), burgers etc. We just dropped in from drink and a couple of small tapas, before dinner. A number of new options on tapas favourites, mainly non-meat. Our absolute favourite was the home cooked fresh potato crisps (or chips for US visitors), served piping hot in a newspaper cone. Really deicious.

Negocio familiar, trato esquisto por parte del camarero que nos recomendó muy bien,y comida de 10, tenemos un restaurante y comer bien fuera de casa es difÃcil, pero he de decir que repetiremos, un saludo de José y RocÃo de Alpandeire.
