We visited as a party of six and just wanted something light with a coffee. Instead of explaining his menu properly when we tried to order 2 soups and 2 noodle bowls the owner started telling us he had loads of reservations coming in. We looked around the empty restaurant - bar two ladies finishing their lunch- without a single Reserved sign on any table and told him we wouldnât take long. He then started saying his chef only had 2 rings to cook on as the kitchen was so small so the food would come out at different times. Again we found this strange as two of us were eating gazpacho- cold soup! Anyway eventually the food came out and was exceptional. We realised during this time that it was a fixed menu at â¬14.95 and that we had already ordered 2 complete meals. The fixed menu finished with two desserts which we chose with his help. Our friends had also come in during this time and ordered 2 noodle bowls. Not at any time did he tell us that we couldnât split the menu and that our meals would all be individually priced. There was no price list for this. When I asked for the bill he came over with the total already tapped in to his card reader â¬81.95. I asked him if I could possibly have a rundown of the prices as I was expecting to pay for two fixed menus at â¬14.95 each with 2 noodle bowls and two bottles of water and 3 coffees. Obviously realising his mistake he then took ages working out his total backwards to come up with individual prices for each meal. To say we felt ripped off is an understatement! He should have told us we couldnât split the meals and there should have been a price list for the individual items as there is on every other menu in the village. Itâs a shame as the food was great. We are very sorry to hear that you felt ripped off, that is a first for us. We can reconfirm that we were well and truly fully booked that day. The rest was just a misunderstanding. The unique menu, as detailed on the board is set at 14euros50, without desert. The menu changes every day as it is organic and homemade. We are however very pleased that you enjoyed your meal!

Nosco is a wine bar where you can drink selected french wines and eat Perigord local products such as foie gras, cheeses, charcuterie, caviar and pastries. It's also a place where you can learn stuffs about wine with tasting class and wine pairing lessons
Came here for a glass of wine and likes it so much came back then next evening to sample more wine and their lovely boards of local cheese and charcuterie. Very friendly and professional service, quiet location with small tables outside in the sun in the early evening. Loved the Bergerac red wine and porc and pepper sausage, delicious ham and others cheeses with walnuts.Thank you so much for your rating! Look forward to seeing you back when you get the chance !

The setting of this restaurant provides beautiful views over the town and valley. During an 8 night stay in the town, we had dinner here several times and very much enjoyed the overall experience-sipping wine on the balcony, watching the sunset after a pleasant meal...what's not to like!A special mention for Michel, the owner/host who was so welcoming and hardworking. He was always very patient with our large group and charming and unassuming. Great memories of this place.
