Things to do in Matara
Healthy cafe serving delicious breakfast, brunch, smoothie bowls and coffee all day long. Find a spot to chill, read or work under the palm trees. Open every day from 8.30-2pm and daily yoga classes at 5pm (Please book by 2pm)
A true gem 2min off the beach. Meraki Madiha - where sun meets love with delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. Thank you!!! I Came back 3 times for their morning goodies. Those toasted wholegrain-egg-spinach-tomato-feta breads and the smoothies were simply addictive. The cafe has a beautiful terrace under coconut trees and is literally next to one of the best beach bits in the South. Swim in the morning, Meraki yoga in the afternoon. They also have a little souvenir shop with handmade local treasures to take home and rooms!. I will definitely come back for the full package of tropical holiday dream.

A little cozy place with chilling atmosphere and tasty house food. Healthy food And Vegan options (!)Daily from 8:30 a.m. we are start served breakfast. Check our Space)))
I was nicely surprised by the food we had here. The restaurant is, in fact, a garden nicelly decorated with tables and chairs in a turkish way(you can seat on the ground while eating-that somehow reminds you of Turkish or Lebanease restaurants). The food is as tasty as it looks and the mood is very cosy and relaxing. It is great for breakfast, brunch or dinner id you like outdoor restaurants. They serve great juices, breakfast bowls with cereals and fruits that are extremelly tasty and the main food has of touch of leabanease food which is very inviting. If you are in the mood of relaxing and eating good food, you should try Wood Space!

You must be the best meal in the mirissa. Awesome location in Turtle Bay restaurant. Came & Enjoy With us. Healthy Sea Food, Asian, Sri Lankan, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Option, Home Made Ice Cream, Gluten Free Options...
Strongly recommend Turtle Bay restaurant just outside Mirissa. Absolutely delicious lunch, super fresh ingredients and definitely the best salad Iâve ever had in Sri Lanka. Food takes a while to turn up but drinks are instant and itâs a gorgeous location. Itâs also a great place to snorkel as itâs safely protected from the surf by the reef and a sea wall - my friends saw the resident (three-legged) turtle and I saw enough fish to keep me happy. Thereâs a surf beach bang next door too. I recommend the prawn noodles and DEFINITELY the âAvocado with vege saladâ. Cool vibe, nice chill out music, friendly attentive waiters, comfy hammocks, sunloungers and very pretty beach. Great place.

Indulge in healthy vegetarian delectables, inspired by owner Mo's home country, Lebanon. Quench your thirst with an array of fresh juices or coffee.
Skip This restaurant. Extremely Overpriced , average Falafel and bad Pita Bread bread. The Pita bread was not fresh and some of the pita bread was not cooked properly. The hummus was okay. The Pricing is unjustifiable. Period.Dear Valued CustomerIt is very unfortunate to read that you did not enjoy your experience with us as we have been constantly striving to deliver the best quality, service and value to all or customers since the launch of our new space in December. We are grateful to you for your reply and will receive and act upon it most constructively. Athough there are no excuses to delivering anything below best value for money for us, we would still like to clarify a couple of things; The pita bread indeed had been changed from our regularly served quality on that specific day, we had run short and resorted to the most readily available alternative as such items are scarce in and around Weligama and the Southern Province. Our flatbread pita is outsourced and ready to consume therefore is served cooked, we only warm it up to ensure a good taste, this might have lead thinking that it was not cooked properly. We have since then received a new batch from our original supplier and it is being served during breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was perhaps not highlighted to you during your visit and so we would like to note that we are using Grade A olive oil, tahini and some other ingredients that are imported directly from Lebanon for the Hummus Bar. These ingredients are used in all of our dishes. We, therefore, consider our pricing reasonable given the limited resources we have. We, however, do our best to provide fulfilling portions as is customary in our culture. We wish you a safe and enjoyable stay and trip in Sri Lanka and hope we will have another chance to serve you to ensure your satisfaction the next time. Sincerely,

Great location and atmosphere, right on the beach. However we were extremely disappointed in the service, waiting almost an hour for our food. It was only after checking in with the staff multiple times (after seeing a number of tables that ordered after us receive their food) that they followed up with our order. After finally getting our meal, we didnât even get an apology for the wait. Food was ok. Wouldnât return, or recommend to friends.Dear daniels,Please accept our sincere apologies on falling short, the management have noticed a few error with the new team and our taking steps to improve on our service standards. We our conducting training's during the lower season now and plan to come on top in no time.We hope you would visit us again for another change, we wonât disappoint.Warm Regards,The Shack Management

At Deli Ceylon we serve vegetarian and vegan breakfast all sourced organic and locally. We are located 5 minutes walk from the surf schools in Weligama so come by and try our wholesome and healthy brunch menu!
Wonderful, tiny cafe with excellent food and nice sitting. The bowls are gorgious, the service great. A bit higher prices (not so high than Nomad Cafe or Soul Cafe) but worth it. One advice to the owner: install fans to get rid of the mosquitos.Thank you so much! And thank you for the feedback, will install fans as soon as possible :)

Smoothie bowl, breakfast and brunch bar located in Mirissa. Serving delicious healthy favourites like wholemeal bread, Avo toast, poached eggs with a local twist!
Lovely eggs and coffee. Its modern and has an Australian coffee shop design to its look. The only thing that didn't make this review 5 star are the flies and the fact the waiters would clear a plate before the other person was done.
