I took a WA colleague here as she stays just around the corner but didn't know of The Cannery. We went for lunch and both had skipped breakfast for a 12.45pm lunch sitting. It's a good space but needs just a wee bit more care. We had to wait for a little longer than we should have to get seated as both hosts were busy and while nice and competent, get em in and get them a drink is my philosophy. Our table also had crumbs all over it and was cleaned while we were seated. From then on, Floor staff stupedendous! Competent, efficient and friendly without being intrusive. We ordered the Iggy's Bread and Hummous to share at the beginning as I wanted friend to eat the great Iggy's and the waiter helpfully pointed out that the hummus had focaccia so would we like a swop in Iggies instead of the Focaccia (worrying that we would have too much bread.) . Thoughtful, thank you. The hummous was nice but a bit sharp for my taste. Our mains were two salads - divine and light so if you are really famished you might need to add something else. They were beautifully tasty, liberal amounts of fresh mint and herbs on top. We had the sticky chicken and pumpkin salads and it was a good share. But unusually for us we did have room for dessert - and chose the lemon merengue and chocolate mousse which were 7/10 I thought but we finished them. It's stuff you could easily do at home but don't. And I feel they were better than the cakes I've tried at Black Star baker. The Rosebery Ducks is a warm big barn of a place, to meet up with friends and family that are not Sydney ridiculous. We also had a mocktail at the beginning and tea at the end. $110.00 for two. Room and ambience great for a weekend breakfast, brunch, lunchtime. I'd niggle and that someone in the place needs to take responsibility for the toilets. The space is shared with Koskelo and other retailers at the back but hey we are eating. Full marks for the floor staff. And make the Cannery at Rosebery a place to visit and explore if you haven't.Thank you for taking your time out to write us a review, we are glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us. Please be assure, we have taken your feedback into consideration and will definitely pass on the comments to the hard working staff! We hope you welcome you again soon.

Welcoming staff who work very hard with those who eat or outside at the pavement tables and with the takeaway crowds. The flat white I ordered arrived quickly despite their busy-ness and was perfect while their very own take on a bacon and egg roll was excellent with the added tang of their BBQ sauce. But beware, the eggs are deliciously runny. And again it seemed that the hot food arrived very quickly. All in all a very enjoyable brekkie.

Here at Caffè Amici in Sydney you find a casual and friendly environment where you can taste the best Italian recipes cooked with the finest and fresh ingredients and enjoy imported Italian wines and beers. Since 2009 Stefano and Tania welcome you for bre
Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner. Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.
