Fabulous restaurant in the centre of the old town. Lunch includes home made soup or a salad and is spectacular value. The food is excellent; cooked with care and flair. It's fresh, comes with plenty of vegetables and really good service. Family run and it shows. Well done Falkenburg for delivering an outstanding experience!Thank you for your valuable feedback. Das Highlight vorneweg; die Sicht ist schlicht fantastisch! Man sieht die drei grossen Seen der Region Zürich auf einen Blick. Das äusserst charmante Lokal bietet gutbürgerliche Küche mit meist hauseigenen Zutaten. Selbstgemachtes Bier, Konfitüre etc. gibts auch zum Kaufen vor Ort. Das Essen war phänomenal; traditionelle Gerichte eigens neu interpretiert. Im Keller des Lokals versteckt sich zudem eine riesige Sammlung an ausgewählten Weinen. Unbedingt einen Besuch wert!

The lunch menu didn't disappoint but rather impressed. The "Avocado Tartar mit getrockneten Tomaten und Räucherlachs" was a nice surprise for the taste buds.The "Pochiertes Goldbrassenfilet mit Kräutern, Weisswein, Knoblauch, Peperoncini und Cherry Tomaten, Salzkartoffeln und Gemüse" was nicely seasoned and delightfully presented.With 1/3 Liter Santa Margherita pinot Grigio and half a liter of water, the tab was $100 for two.The waitstaff was attentive and the food was served in a timely manner.The upstairs portion of the restaurant has a nice view and the tables have cloth covers and napkins.

Have been there several times for drinks and also for work. They have a quiet area in the café very suitable for working. Power outlets are optimisable but I found one by disconnecting a lamp. Friendly service. They have all kinds of old tables, chairs, lamps and stuff in use in the café and if you like anything, you can buy it.
