A real rarity in La Paz, a restaurant specializing in salads, wraps and sandwiches with all kinds of interesting dressings. It is small and unassuming but always full. About a block from the Montenegro in the San Miguel neighborhood of La Paz's Zona Sur. It is unpretentious but a good value.
We invite you to taste an excellent specialty coffee, in an atmosphere that will transport you to old town house of "La Paz" We offer an organic height coffee, type Bourbon Criollo, produced in the warm lands of the Yungas north of the city of La Paz grow
We loved this café in La Paz! We were visiting from Portland, Oregon USA (a huge coffee city) earlier this month and this was definitely the best coffee we had in our travels through both Peru and Bolivia. Unfortunately when we arrived at the café we weren't hungry because the Australian man sitting next to us ordered an amazing looking sandwich which he said was delicious. The owner took great pride in his coffee and the service was outstanding. Wish we would have had time to go back for a second visit. The place is darling on the inside and out (in a cute little alley), extremely clean, and provides free wifi. We appreciate your visit and we appreciate that you enjoyed the coffee, we are waiting for you on your next visit to the city.

This is the third time I eat here during Restaurant Week and their cuisine just keeps getting better! Their service was on point and they were very quick to come out with the drinks and bread before the entree. They've now started doing a lot of deconstructed Bolivian-inspired dishes which is very new and exciting here. Their meals were well balanced and featured a variety of local flavors. Definitely try the deconstructed "Sandwich de Chola" that has deliciously textured pork with artichokes and escabeche veggies. Their trout was also delicious, with a pine sauce. Their desserts are the best though and flawlessly flavor-balanced.Dear Guest We are more than happy that you have enjoyed the experience Stannum at The Restaurant Week. The diverse range of plates that we offer in the restaurant, were designed to combine the national food with the gourmet experience. We wanted to play with the traditional flavors and raise them to a new level, in which a pickle and artichokes create a new taste sensationThank you for your review and for choosing usWe will be waiting your next visitBest RegardsJesse Cuevas Customer Service

Anti-café (also sometimes called a time club or a pay-per-minute café) is a type of a public business that became popular around 2011 in Russia. Anti-café is a place where people meet and spend time, similar to a café or a club, which is possible to rent
I would say, the cafe looks like many in Europe but there are a few places like that in Bolivia. Alpaca wool fibers are used as decoration, looks unusual. Table games, a few books, playing reggae. Breakfast for 25 Bs, you can create your own breakfast / salad / sandwich. I guess, Europeans / Americans would like it. Different types of coffee and tea (more than 10 types), coffee with different alcohol spirits 25 Bs, Juices, smoothies, empanadas, snacks to share. Bolivian craft beers 22-24 Bs and local wines (12Bs glass or 40-65 Bs. for a bottle). It is also convenient for those, who want to kill time because everything is cooked very slowly. I guess, we spent in Chukuta more than 1.5 hours... and everything could have been done in 30 min. Moreover, there were not so many people waiting for their orders.Thank you for you review and being so clear and detailed. We try to make everything as fresh as possible and maybe we took too much time trying this goal. We will improve our food preparation process. Thanks for your opinion.

We came from some busy days touring in bolivias altiplano. To find this awesome quiet sunny and friendly place was a real relief. We had the lemonade, smoothies and cake to keep us busy for the afternoon while relaxing on the small terrace and used the wifi to plan the rest of our trip. Can surely recommend.

Irish owned âThe Carrot Treeâ is the perfect place to relax and enjoy fresh organic all day Brunch, evening meals, locally sourced Jungle Coffee or our famous Bolivian cocktails and juices. We pride ourselves on bringing you the highest standard of fresh
The heaping plate of pesto pasta was over-cooked (as opposed to al-dente), needed a lot of salt (felt like the pasta was not cooked in salted water and lacked flavor) and very oily. But the veggies and chicken in it tasted great. On the plus side, the servers are great and the space cozy and inviting. So overall it was a very average dining experience. Tips: 1) Go hungry as the portions are huge 2) Go to the top floor (not the second floor) for better views of the city.
