We visited for lunch. Coffee was great but the food left a little to be desired. The team seemed more interested in the locals than the tourists. It appears that this spot is fairly popular with the locals. However, It has great position. We sat and watched the world go by.

Found this small restaurant on the camping ground.Run by new owners since 4 months, who are very passionate about their work. The lady grows all the vegetables and herbs in her home garden. What a difference that makes. We had fresh tomato soup served with warm buttery garlic bread ( own made garlic butter of course) and smoked duck shanks served with very tasty vegetables. No frills necessary, because if the food is tasty there is just no need for sauces. Byo. Nice garden views and comfy chairs.Best time to visit is if one can still admire the beautiful and well maintained grounds of the caravan park.Definitely a winner in Kuranda which is dead after 16 hrs.
