A nutritional focused healthy Restaurant and Skinny bar in Edinburgh. Serving protein cakes, pancakes, shakes, smoothies, burgers and much more. We serve low calorie cocktails and beers.
We were so happy to find this restaurant that catered for both vegan and non vegans. The âkitchenâ was totally empty and we thought that it was about to close. My husband ordered a meat based meal and I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed a Daddy McChickân with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious. The last night of our visit we felt really lucky to find such a reasonably priced delicious menu. We would go again (next time we re in Edinburgh). And would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for vegan food.

Finally a perfect afternoon dining experience. My fantastic partner and I went with our dog Howie. We wanted something different and Ostara in Leith delivered a perfect experience. Greater and seated quickly. Staff was friendly without being overly familiar. Also pointed out the specials for that day. I ordered minced Lamb hash my partner ordered one of the lunch specials slow cooked pork belly. My dish came with a type of freshly made zaatar bread. Finished off with latte and delicious Brownie. Hats off to the staff for preparing locally sourced, deliciously presented meals. Excellent flavour combinations .

Visited early evening for the first time. Really helpful staff, clean lovely surroundings and the food was freshly cooked to order. I'm not a huge sushi fan, but there were plenty of hot options to choose from. We ordered a soup, three starters and a ramen bowl to share. They asked if we wanted to have the ramen bowl in two smaller bowls which was a nice touch. The food was excellent, really tasty and full of flavour. If you're not sure about it, give it a go you will not be disappointed.
