The municipality comprises the towns of Kasterlee proper, Lichtaart and Tielen. On January 1, 2006 Kasterlee had a total population of 17,908. The total area is 71.56 km² which gives a population density of 250 inhabitants per km². The town is twinned with Plaffeien.

We stayed from twelve until four in the afternoon, and our three kids have been attended to all the time. We had time to eat with our friends, while the kids eat upstairs and played all along. Service is very good, so friendly :) .A bit pricey, but worth it. We'll definitely go back!

Booked last night for my partner's birthday.Booking was made for 8pm. We ordered a bottle of wine (which was nice), cold starters and pizza's as a main course.Starter arrived at 9.15pm and was ok.At 10.30pm still no pizza... and when I asked the owner about it, the answer was that 'Belgians are always so inpatient' and that next time we should go to Mc Donald's.That's when we decided to leave and that's what we did...The table next to us, a couple with 2 small children arrived about the same time as us and when they enquired about their food after waiting very long, they were told that there are places in town where you can get served chicken nuggets within 3 minutes...? He went into a huge discussion with the mother telling her that it was very busy and that she should come in the kitchen and do it herself.The owner is extremely rude and arrogant and you will only see him smile on the photos and when he serves his own friends in the restaurant.Never seen this before and obviously we won't ever return!I would suggest him to pack his bags and open a place in Italy (maybe people have more patience there...)?Sorry if you think this about me. "rude and arrogant"....? Maybe you can ask all ours customers what they think about this... This is the first time in my career that someone write something like this about me.I hope you can give me another chance to show you who i am. I want invite you again: you and your partner are my guest! Sorry for your bad experience. Ps: i live in Belgium from 7 years. Velazquez has both small plates and large and i think they are all good. I was traveling alone on business and found several delicious small plates. Two small plates makes a great dinner for one person and allows you to choose interesting combinations. The soft shell crab is especially good.Thank you for you nice comment!We do appriciate it very much.

Off peak Roosendaal can seem very quiet, almost ghost town like. And then you are surprised by all of the energy emanating from Cafe Lente and you simply can't walk by upon first encountering it. It seems that everyone in Roosendaal wants to be here. The delicious food was as expected. Why else would all of these people want to be there? The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. The decor was a bit Modern Chic mixed in with Mother Earth. The two lunches that I had here were delicious and well priced. Although I never tried it out myself, whenever I passed by at high tea time the cafe was bursting at the seams so that too appears to be worth a try.
